I will not guarantee this to be good, but Paladin legendaries are chronically under-rated.

KickMachine posted a message on Whizbang not available in rank 50-26Posted in: General DiscussionThis is a very good decision in my opinion and I'm glad that the devs considered this. Now new players will not be crushed by fully golden semi meta decks. I came to realize that a lot of people were going to create a new account and craft Whizbang just so that they could, get a feel for the new player experience but also to totally crush new players!

"All is fair in love and... cards?"
How It Works
Let's say you play this card and end up with 5 cards in your hand while there are 7 in your opponent's hand. All of those cards will get shuffled into each player's respective deck. Then you will draw one more than what was originally had, meaning you would draw 6 cards and your opponent would draw 8. This card does not count toward your card count. If you have a hand of 3 cards that includes Fair is Fair!, your hand will count as 2 and will end up drawing 3 cards.
What It Could Be Used For
This is a simple card that could have a lot of applications underneath it's plain exterior. First of all, it's neutral card draw. Even if your opponent gets an extra card too, you'll still have an extra card you didn't have at your disposal. Second of all, it's a good way to reset your hand. Did you start turn 1 with all 8-drops? This can reset your card hand and give you something new to start out with! Also, this can break your opponents combos. If you think they have Shudderwock in their hand, it would be a good time to play this card and delay your opponent from playing their win-condition! One final niche way to use this card is to mill your opponent. If they have 10 cards, make them draw a brand new hand and mill the 11th card they draw!

He has synergy with evolve of course because he will ALWAYS become a Mountain Giant . Also it works well with elementals and the joust mechanic.

I think this is the best card we saw today by a fair margin.
1
Does it pull it randomly, or is it like the discover mechanic?
If its the latter, Big Warrior will be a really cool deck.

I agree with DKs being some of the best cards they've released.
All of them are or will be viable.

I think the set introduced a lot of interesting cards, but a handful of OP cards and combos are hanging over the meta like a shadow. If you draw your one or two cards that your deck is built around, you win. If not, you lose.
The one card that has to get nerfed is Prophet Velen
Change it to Spell damage +1, double the effects of all healing.
That card is too powerful with Raza and Priest DK.

Really? The overwhelming majority of what I'm playing against is Kazakus Priest and Aggro Rogue at the moment. With an occasional Evolve Shaman and Hunter sprinkled in.

I've been playing an elemental jade Shaman with the DK hero.
DESTROYS Paladin, loses bad to highlander Priest.

I opened 5 Furnacefire Colossus, 3 or 4 Meat Wagon and 3 of a lot of other shitty epics in this set.
Bad luck man. Also, 2 of my first 3 legendary were Prince Keleseth and Prince Taldaram

1. Valeera the Hollow will be one of the strongest Death Knight hero cards.
2. Quest Mage becomes the strongest Mage deck.
3. Hunter and Warlock remain the two weakest classes.
4. However, Secret Hunter will be decent.
5. Only 3 of the 9 new class legendary cards in KotFT will see regular play.
6. Jade Druid isn't going anywhere.
7. Taunt Druid, Freeze Shaman and Elemental Mage will fail.
8. Highlander Priest will be tier 1 and quest Priest will be tier 2.
9. Righteous Protector will be the most impactful card in the KotFT.
10. A lot of people will complain that Thrall, Deathseer should be nerfed.

Free From Amber
I was theorycrafting a Quest Priest deck, I ended up cutting Obsidian Statue entirely and put in two of Free From Amber instead, along with Medivh, the Guardian
Obsidian Statue is the only 8+ cost Priest minion, so you should be able to discover it almost every time from Free From Amber, and one of two taunt minions in Priest, including Tortollan Shellraiser. So Stonehill Defender should see a lot of play in Priest decks now.

I'm like 80% sure that two of my first three legendary cards will be princes.
