Slamming a 7/8 taunt on turn 7 is definitely solid, the effect is either going to win or lose you the game on the spot, though. Fun card, but seems too memey to be actually good.
If we live in a burn meta, this could see play. We've had a lot of 3 mana 3/4s lately though, and none of them really took off. I don't expect this one will, either.
I'm glad this mechanic is coming back. Always thought the "Forbidden" cards were really nice to discover or randomly generate. They never felt over-powered, but almost always useful.
This seems like really nice single target removal for more expensive minions.
Nah, once things start getting announced, it will go pretty quick. Final teaser tomorrow... probably. Reveal stream probably early next week, maybe Monday. We'll probably see 10ish cards. Community reveals will start the week after the reveal stream. Final stream early next month, drop the set April 11th.
We aren't even sure if Hagatha and Dr. Boom will be new cards in the new set yet, right? They could just be setting up some of these characters to play a role in the PVE content. I hope that's all it is, because it seems too soon to have an expansion that focuses on bringing back some of the biggest villains, when some of them haven't even rotated yet.
I do look forward to the inevitable expansion later this year, where the classic good guys from HS put a team together to fight them.
Hopefully I'll have closer to 9k gold by the time the expansion drops. I usually try to save up 10k but I took a month off and didn't get to save up as much.
Interesting. Didn't know about those. There does always seem to be a card or two that feels out of place. I don't necessarily agree with Arcanosaur. Dinosaurs were a sort of sub-theme in RR, so seeing Mage getting an arcane Dino seems normal to me.
Malygos, Mind Control Tech and Preparation would probably be my picks. MCTech hasn't seen as much play since the new expansion hit, but it's still just some of the worst RNG in the game and they've already removed it from Arena, which could be a hint they'll move it to HOF soon. Maly needs to go just to freshen up the meta a bit and open design space for cheaper damage spells and new combo decks. It's also time for Prep to go, it will allow them to print stronger and less expensive spells for Rogue in the future.

Horrible top-deck, but insane in the mulligan.
Probably the strongest card we've seen yet IMO.

I've always really liked Dollmaster Dorian
Hopefully he'll get some support with the new set.

For me, Jade Druid.
Particularly with pre-nerf Spreading Plague

Ike got me 2 packs.
8 commons
2 rares
1 Blast Wave
Meh, I'll take it.
EDIT: Meant 7 commons. Damn, people are aggressive with their downvotes

To me, it seems like he's trolling, but I guess we'll know soon enough.

Maybe Bog Slosher?
I hope we get another Elise card this set. When Elise Starseeker rotated, we got Elise the Trailblazer. I wanna see something really funky.
