Sprint is in here for three reasons: 1. 2nd Auctioneer feels more like a 2nd minion rather than a draw mechanic. 2. Saves spells for Malygos. 3. The absence of Conceal makes Auctioneer less powerful.
Harrison is a must because it gives our bad match ups a chance: Warriors, Hunters, Shamans.
Two Sinister Strikes causes more Dead Hands, which a lot of people complain about when playing these type of Rogue decks.
I've tried this deck with thaurissan and it's just not worth it. You usually want to draw at least 2 cards from Auctioneer unless you desperately need to fight for the board.
C'Thun druid match is just about having board control over them because they struggle gaining the board back. If that means using prep+spell to steal the board then do so. Priests are free. I've tried Dark Iron Skulker; it sucks. Only backstab the totems if you are initiating a combo or drawing with auctioneer or if you want to just gain board presence.
Some times I put him in sometimes I put him out. Just for testing purposes really. And I've found out that he's pretty useful spell-wise, but the 3/2 body feels irrelevant.
I can see your reasoning and it's not a terrible card to the deck. It will find value in some games, but there are definitely more cards that will find value more than Alex would.
