Seems pretty good, it is a lot like Arcane Intellect: 3 mana, draw 2 cards. Doesn't fatigue you as much, but doesn't give you as much diverse access. Its the best flatout draw card Rogue has gotten anyway, which alone means a lot.

I think people are sleeping on this card, actually. Remember that when everything is a 5/5, you don't need to worry about trash early stats, you can just keep returning that Swashbuckler to your hand and it'll become a 5/5 for example. I also think people might be forgetting Shadowcaster exists, which not only helps this quest happen but also can make 1 mana 5/5s with effects for it. The new Mimic Pod is like an Arcane Intellect that has potential synergy with this. I dunno if it'll work out but it is potentially extremely powerful and easier to fulfill than it first seems. If nothing else, it is good to see a Quest with a big different splash.

Am I the only one who thinks this is legit pretty good? Magma Rager is mostly just bad because he dies to pings instantly. If Magma Rager had ping protection it'd be a decently solid card.

At the least seems good in Arena where board clears less prevelant.

posted a message on New Card - Defias Cleaner

Playable and I would even say good card. People comparing it to Ironbeak Owl and Spellbreaker need to consider that both of those have quite poor bodies and that is part of why they don't see a lot of play. For example, Spellbreaker into Sylvanas lets Sylvanas trade and survive to still get an advantage. Same with Cairne, Tirion and Sludge Belcher in Wild. Defias Cleaner allows you not only to silence powerful cards such as Sylvanas, but to then eat Sylvanas with card advantage.

In addition, cards like Spellbreaker are almost useless without good targets to silence, while Cleaner can drop down as a solid 5/7 without it if you need a body. I could easily see this slotting into Reno decks as a tech card for example. The card's downside of course is that it only his Deathrattles, so you cannot deal with things such as Ysera.

This card is also going to be very good in Arena. Only -1 attack off of Ogre, which is very good in Arena, but the effect can potentially produce very potent swings, and the attack difference is not a huge issue.

posted a message on New Mage Card - Freezing Potion

Is not good for putting into your deck and so is Dust It level for that, but I think it is actually quite good off of Kabal Chemist, Babbling Book and the like. The freezing Spare Part has always been very useful for how you can totally screw someone up for a turn in many situations and this can freeze face vs. weapon decks and is nice to turn on Flamewakers and such when it doesn't have to go in your deck.

Voting Dust It because the card itself should be dusted but I think it is underrated off of Discovers and Chemists etc

posted a message on New Card - Ancient of Blossoms

Avoids Dust It level because it has some niche uses and can at least be a heavy taunt for aggro to run into, is not totally useless in Grimy Goons and I don't think it will be an absolutely horrible Arena card. But if you have the choose, 1 less mana to play Fen Creeper which only has 2 less HP is almost always better and of course Bog Creeper is significantly stronger. Also, it competes with Sunwalker which may use the buffs from Grimy Goons better due to Divine Shield.

posted a message on New Warrior Card - Public Defender

Was going to put this in Bad, but I decided that it can squeak into playable because it has some combo potential (Stolen Goods -> Public Defender) and it can serve as a cheap psuedo-"heal" in some decks. If Taunt Warrior becomes a thing, then this card becomes playable and maybe even good. Also is good in any hand buff decks because it has a high stat line is in cheap. For example with Don Han'Cho, you can play the Don and this on 9 mana for a 5/6 and a 5/12 with Taunt which is pretty good.

Pretty much everyone will agree this is playable and that's all there is to say. 4 mana 5/4 with situationally good effect is solid in Arena and you will probably consider playing this in a Pirate deck. Noticably good in Rogue, especially in Arena and will probably be a high pick in Rogue Arenas.

posted a message on New Warrior Legendary Card - Hobart Grapplehammer

This card is insane! Not even just for smORC, but making Fiery War Axe do better late is pretty crazy in Control Warrior too, and it is very much possible to use this + Fool's Bane for a lot of board wiping power. It should also be noted that this allows Gorehowl to kill a Ragnaros on board and Arcanite Reaper becomes able to hit things like Ancient Shieldbearer at 6 HP.

Also important that it is a 2 mana 2/2, which gives Control Warriors an early drop, which is pretty good/important. Allows trading power with things like 3/2s and at least forces things like Zoo to trade in and not hit face.

It seems nice when you think about the best outcome. But in actual fact we all know you will be offered Redemption, Repentance and Eye for a Eye.

TBH, Redemption and Repentance don't even seem like that bad of picks, Repentancing plays T7+ can be really good.
