The reason winrate of quest mage isnt great is because people counter it with extreme agro or specific cards. Earlier you could choose to play control warrior or priest to destroy any kind of agro. Now you cant, cause you will loose to 100% of mages and 100% of warlocks and 100% of otk DH and 100% of miracle rogues. And the worst thing is that they all complete their goals by turn 6.
All this decks do not care about your game plan. They only have theirs. And then you have paladin with 2 card otk combo if you leave any 2 minions on board starting from turn 6. Sounds fun, yes?
Quests just have to go. They should admit they screwed up like they did with baku meta and rotate those early. And to fix paladin they need to make conviction give only 2 attack + make windfury minion 6 mana and fix weapon bug that gives +1/+1 even when you transform their minion
Because there are rare games that go past turn 7. Because there are 3 uninteractive decks in game. Because you cant experiment, you have to play agro or die. And you need to run cards like robes instead of cards you actually want to.
I just dont understand Mark of the Spikeshell. In my opinion 2 mana "draw and discount a beast" spell is much better, as it 100% secures you the rush beast that also helps you complete the quest.
It is a cancer , yes. But I put in robes of protection in my paladin deck and cruised to legend. Its a matter of days before everybody starts doind it and then they are gone
It is ok man. Not all decks suit everyone. I personally cant play rogue, all those discover cards and 20 cards per turn, I missplay and trade too much. If slower elem shaman works better for you, just stick to that
Man, this is hearthstone, its not rocket science, I gave you mulligan guide, after that you play minions on curve and prioritize face damage. When you get to turn 5, play weapon , then finish off with spells that buffs weapon.
Actually, I am quite happy with current version. It puts a lot of pressure on your opponent and every card feels very usefull when played, even Kurtusand Magehunter. And I keep climbing with it.
Maybe a mankirk can be good or, if you struggle versus shaman , ooze , but on my ranks Cult Neophyte is super good. This version beats Hunter consistently, and it says a lot , considering you dont play lifesteal weapons.

This is definately a bug. The weapon is strong as it is. Ang you cant even counter it with transformation spells.

Suggestion to fix quest mage: add "play nature spell" to each step of the quest :D

Guys, have you forgotten Robes of Protection exists? Just put x2 in your deck and watch mage cry.

If it looses to every shaman and DH and control priest, it just cant be 85 % WR, they are 50% of ladder :-)

Had a good run with the deck yesterday, 14-3. Beated all other DH decks. They all run weird big demon or Nzhoth stuff :)
