The probability of the rogue winning the pyroblast game on that state is

He need to hit your face 7 times before hitting his face 2 times, with effectively (almost always) 3 target on the game.

    So it is

Probability : ((number of possibility to hit warrior face/number of total possibility)^(minimum times it has to hit the warrior-maximum times it could hit the rogue))

    So..

    (1/3)^(7-1) = 1/729 = 0.0014

So it was 0.14% chance to happen.. you deserves a trolden spot.

I see this exact same argument throughout each year... Year after year...... Regarding Pro Evi and Fifa.

We get it, there are multiple games within a genre. Some people will prefer playing one over the othet(s), some will spread their time across multiple. That's fine, some people prefer pro evo, others prefer Fifa.

But they, like you, for some reason have a need to try and 'convert' people to their preference. If you prefer runeterra, cool, play runeterra and enjoy discussing that positively on a forum or reddit. I've tried magic and I've tried runeterra and for me, hearthstone is far superior.

I'm not a big card game player, I'd tried a couple in the past and found them clunky and unappealing. Hearthstone is an anonoly in that sense for me, I really enjoy it. I'm sorry you don't but I imagine me enjoying it means absolutely nothing to whether or kot you do.

Apply that same logic in reverse, you constantly telling me you prefer another game is irrelevant. I don't care. Your enjoyment and preferences simply aren't on my radar at all. Just ad mine aren't with you.

So just as I stick to talking about hearthstone because I enjoy it, why not use this time to discuss your preferred game? Is that not more positive? No one has ever given me a reasonable response to the question 'why do you haunt the forum of a game you claim to dislike rather than spend time on a forum of the game you do like'.

It's like going to a restaurant you know you don't like, just so you can complain about not liking it whilst the restaurant you do like would happily seat and serve you.

     I'm super agree with you..

But just in case.. maybe we should ask this guy first or look at Runeterra forum.. just in case, maybe, just maybe.. he was actively open thread there about how good Runeterra is. But for all the other points, I truly agreed with you. This kind of topic about Runeterra should not posted in HS forum, general category, with the kind of 'trash-talk' to Hearthstone. If he just saying the good things about Runeterra, with screenshot and quick summary in other games category.. I'm all for him.

Also, I wonder where are the moderator is..? He was so fast gimme a warning when I was joking around even though it doesn't intentionally hurts the HS forum nor community.

Dont forget that he count all the gold you get from reward track. That means, if you were like me, reach lv 31 now and estimated to get 10k gold at the end.. doesn't mean I will have 10k spare at that expansion.

Bacause I already used about 1500gold from level 1-30, then I will only left with 8500gold in the end of the reward cycle.

*Keep this in mind just in case you end up with gold lower than the estimated in the future..

Also, I should say this. Even though the estimated progression and gold seems promising, the lack of another sources of gold besides reward track is annoying. They should add other source to get gold, especially because some of the quests actually need gold, like the win 4 arena match quest (assuming you used your re-roll already).

    I respect your opinion.

But in my opinion, Runeterra is not even close to hearthstone's fun.

No offense Riot, you still make a very cool CCG in Runeterra, but it just too far away from the kind of fun hearthstone offer. In a world without hearthstone, Runeterra definitely rule digital CCG.

Hopefully you respect my opinion too.

posted a message on C'Thun Use
    Quote from Chelmsford >>

I've played over 20 games in Rogue with a very draw and removal heavy build and still I can't get close to completing C'Thun...much less drawing him.  Same goes for N'Zoth and I've even tried some of the net deck variants here (as much as I hate to admit that).  I've seriously not completed C'Thun once and by the time I lay down N'Zoth it's of no value.  And please, save the comments about variance, deck build, etc.  I get it, there's aggro out there and it straight up counters anything I'm trying to do with C'Thun or N'Zoth.  I'm just curious if anyone is else is amazed by the fact that Blizzard prints new cards in Darkmoon like C'Thun and N'Zoth and still allows all the tools for every variation of DH and Hunter to be a thing.  Seriously, what's the use?  It's turn 6 or 7 and the game is over when facing DH and Hunter...and these are the overwhelming majority of decks you face in the meta.  The C'Thun pieces neither heal nor clear a board early enough to be of any value.  Honestly, I just dont get why they print what would otherwise be fairly cool and interactive cards like this if we can never play them in the meta they're released.  It's not a matter of salt, frustration or anything along those lines...I truly just dont see the value in cards like this if you can't consistently get close to playing them.

It's hard to complete C'thun in rogue. But if you really want to complete it there's some other deck that could easily finish it when they own the match.

It was Control Warrior, Albatross Priest, Control Highlander Mage.

The thing is we see C'thun as a combo card when it wasn't, at all. C'thun is just a control card that only shine in control matchup. Just like Archivist Elysiana. Most of the time she never shows up in any match, until you face that grindy control matchup and you so happy you include her. Except C'thun parts can be use to control the board when Elysiana is just a dead card in hand. Also, C'thun is 5 less fatigue count than Elysiana, but C'thun deal 30 damage right away, which is better than 5 fatigue count.

The core issue is control deck doesn't see much light because demon hunter somehow can aggroing control deck pretty easily.

    Quote from Shadowrisen >>

I think that's a perfectly reasonable approach to the whole thing.  I guess I just want to emphasize that we can pick better opinion leaders.

Imo, Brian Kibler could be that person. He stood up when there's a blitzchung situation (talks about human rights and larger-than-game issue), he also always speak up about the meta balancing in the era of omnislash (remember when baku and genn is in meta, finally rotated early because Kibler make an omnislash content to says that unhealthy to the meta almost every 2 months).

Also, Brian Kibler was a pro and game designer in other ccg/tcg games, so he sure have credibility to talks about it.

But he rarely said anything about how much hearthstone's cost. So, I don't know, maybe he just never see it as a problem.

I don't usually commented, but I got irritated by how yepapep and popeye randomly attack person in the internet just because he elaborate his opinion clearly. If I was the moderator, this is not kind of discussion I wanted and both person should have get banned.

Discussion should stay objective and based on the what point discussed, or what statement brought to the table, not suddenly changed to attacking the person who just gives his opinion on the topic. Only a very low person do that.

Also, surely my paragraph above is out of topic discussion. But I feel the need to pointed this out because this will be unhealthy forum to have. And I want this two people to know that this their harassment (?) to shadowrisen Is actually more hurtful to read than the wall of text shadowrisen has wrote. And I don't like the wall of text either but I still read it and doesn't feel bad about it, at all.
