Cheap control tool in the world of 80% of board is aggro decks. You guys don't realise that in this game, if you manage to beat aggro well enough, you already have over 50% winrate.

People writing here are the ones getting crazy about the 9 mana cards that does a crazy thing but will never ever be played because you don't reach 9 mana, but ignore the 2 mana card that will steal the juicy stats of the aggro player.

But aggro player never had a juicy stat minion, my friend.. they just go wide with small or moderate minion. Makes this card only steal 2 attack most of the time.

The only good target against aggro deck is probably flesh giant.

So this card will be played mostly in late game scenario..

Who gives a shite, play what you enjoy and enjoy what you play. thats the whole point of games.

Another example of people who can't comprehend what he reads, or just doesn't read at all. ^

He clearly implies that he doesn't enjoy (most popular) priest archetype, and just trying to find and build one priest deck because its its only class he doesn't have now. So he was asking for another priest archetype. Duh.

Honestly no one should care about what anyone thinks in regards to playing a certain class or whatever.. silly title imo. If you're having fun with the game, that's the point

The op clearly implies that he hates some of priest archetype, so he was asking for some other priest archetype that doesn't feels the same with archetype he hates.

Also, out topic about 'should not care'. If you not doing something because you remember that it doesn't feels good when others do the same thing to you, then it was categorized as empathy. And it was an unique mammals trait. It was pretty normal. So the one who doesn't care is actually the anomaly here...

But of course, if you never felt salty, unfair or hate over any of priest archetype, and you dont feel anything when play that priest archetype yourself, that's fine. Like me, I never feel salty over any game when I screwed by my opponent because this just a game. All for rhe laugh. And I feel free to play anything as long as the game allow it.

To the op, you can try clown priest, get so much value once you successfully corrupted the clown and use raise dead.

Good card with broomstick and couple other minions to swing the board, at least you can use the buff stats at your advantage.. but probably too expensive..

HOW IS THIS A DH CARD

    Quote from Edergize >>

I agree this card has hunter written all over it.

    Quote from BlueTwo >>

Lol, they definitely meant for this to be a hunter card.

Maybe it was supposed to be a hunter card. They think it was too strong so they nerfed it by adding 'demon' to the class.

He got the point. If you play wild, then you will facing this kind of deck. If you can't accept nor moved on after facing scummy deck like that, then just play standard.

Wild is exactly that, it's wild!

The main problem with this card, and how it makes DH otk ridiculous, is the same as most card who say "double X" : it stacks with itself, leading to crazy, out of this world number when you can on top of that duplicate it. I am not completely against otk DH, i am however against how they can get up to 8 artificers in a game, use most of them to clear any board pressure you create while still having enough of them for the combo.
So two ways to go about it :

-Remove the demon tag : this would be a pretty hard nerf, as it would mean no duplication for DH, no discount. It could no longer be used to clear any board, and it would make the combo unable to kill through an armored opponent.

-Prevent it from stacking multiplicatively with itself, with a rewording that would indicate that. So a single artificier would still deal 2X damage, but 2 artificers would deal 3x instead of 4x. I would make more pieces of the combo needed the higher on health your opponent is, making pressure from the other player more relevant if they manage to make the DH burn artificers of lifesteal spells.

Genuinely curious, 8? How? We're going for real creative uses of the word "up to".

    Quote from Rohriant >>

It's not the problem since the card itself can't go face and end the game. It just a card that empower your board removal that cost 2 mana, and hyper power your removal if you play both in 4 mana. It will never broke the game..

Of course, the culprit is the card that let you convert this damage to go face instead. We know what card it is..

I don't think it's wholly incorrect to say that, in general, all card games find ways to break the word "double". We don't need to refer to Il'gynoth in the abstract like this is a goddamn conspiracy website (though with some of the takes, I might not be far off the mark). It was a dangerous card, they knew it when they printed it, but I don't think that fundamentally damns it.

What do you trying to say/argue with my point? The ts open the topic about how moarg become a problem, but his explanation and his solution is only to make combo dh slowing down but never addresses the usage of moarg in any other (infamous) control deck. Then the problem ts want actually address is the combo dh, not the moarg itself. The key card that makes this combo viable is ilgynoth, it is the one that limit the design of other cards. How is this so hard to understand..

posted a message on Is there a reason to put any card that cost more than 4 in todays meta?
    Quote from SpaceTimeDream >>
    Quote from Rohriant >>

What kind of question is this?

Yes, you have a reason when you want to play value game or a control deck. And you can play it right away now, nobody will stops you. And yes, you can win too unless you are very bad at the game or afk in first two turns when handling aggro.. Because that decks exist, having lower than 50% winrate doesnt means the deck can't win at all, it just means it's bad for laddering.

The title is too much hyperbolic and exaggerated.

Okay, can I ask is winning more important than having fun for you?

I cave in and played aggro myself this past day and honestly I just feel like a bully. Sure I win but there is not much enjoyment or fun for me.

I don’t know how my question title is exaggerated but you didn’t really give me any answers.

Okay since the topic of winning and “skills” brought up a lot. Do you feel like you are making calculated decisions when to hold or play cards? Or do you just play cards as you draw them? Shouldn’t aggro decks have that level of decision making too?

Fair enough, but it still different topics than what you said 'any reason to play 4+ cost cards?'. It's too hyperbolic, and not just my tastes. Like everyone who answer before me, the answer for that question is a simple Yes. The only way you didn't accept the 'yes' as the answer is because you actually want to discuss other things than the 4+ cost cards.

So makes this clear for us.. what is the thing that you actually want to discussed here? It's not about the 4+ cards, right?
