I've faced final boss before Legend FOUR times today. I'm at a 13/6 winrate today, but FOUR of those six losses have been on Diamond 1, 3 stars. I mean, what the actual F?
Edit: my god it happened again. I am now 14/7 with 5 losses on the final boss. I am going out of my mind here.
Edit 2: it finally happened: after a 16/7 winrate over today I am finally Legend
I don't fully understand why such a lengthy and boring discussion is evolving around a card that has very little impact on the game as it is.
Just look at the HSReplay statistics: there aren't that many decks running Tickatus in the first place. It's mostly Galakrond and Control Warlock that run it and they are only slightly above 50% winrate anyway.
Tickatus is an oddball card for sure, but apart from getting tilted from time to time when it works out for your opponent, it's just going to have an impact.
There is one workaround that seems to work consistently: log out (switch account) before exiting the app. You can force a re-logon by resetting your password through a browser first and then just make sure to always log out first, before exiting the app.
This is also why a re-install works once: you have to log on for the first time after installing.
I have the same problem: the game is stuck on the loading screen on iPad Air 2. I was able to "solve" it for a moment, by uninstalling and reinstalling the game. That got me logged in.
However, exiting the game and starting it again resulted in the problem returning. At least it makes it so I won't ever try to exit a fight to get a longer turn timer.
No too salty here, but I was recently screwed by playing on an iPad.
I was playing Reno and had a golden Khadgar and a regular Khadgar, on tier 5, playing several token minions. I think I had 6 triples that turn, but was only able to play 1 due to the animation time and lag. I couldn't even have played that turn much faster, as I even restarted the game right before the previous fight.
I entered the fight with both Khadgars, 5 2/2 tokens and an Amalgodon. Needless to say, I got knocked out that fight.
What I don't like about Galakrond, is that you can face him on, say, turn 9, and get hit for 33 damage because he rolled the absolute uber nuts. This just happened to me, right after getting a nice turn 7 Chef Nomi and having had one single turn to switch to and scale an Elemental build. I knew I wasn't strong right then, but I was at a comfortable 29HP, or so I thought.
I don't tend to get too salty playing Battlegrounds, but this shit pisses me off like nothing else.
