Guys, I think you must try out this deck. Maybe tempo archetype will comeback after this nerf... or maybe won't.
Why I think this is better than the odd rogue? Because you have a better lategame, more draws and obviously Prince Keleseth Dragons add some solid mid-game to counter control, also you can build a pretty strong board in 5/6 turns. Early game is very important versus aggro, board control is the way to play (especially with pally).
But everyone has his own playstyle, so Im considering to stfu myself and let you try this list by your own.
Kill their taunts from hand so ur minions already on board can hit face
My thoughts: definitely need 2 x frothing and korkron to push damage. Militia commander feels pretty bad, i think 2 of the 3/3 and Crowley are the correct rush package (not sold on the wasp either) to pull with town criers. I really hope this deck becomes ~T2 because it's the kind of thing I enjoy playing and have wanted to craft Crowley but didn't have a good reason.
i know, but it's difficult in this meta doing something "new"
That's true I feel like getting in minion-based damage (just by playing them and waiting a turn) is powerful enough at the moment though, e.g. even paladin Obviously rush warrior is less powerful, but frothing helps a lot if it sticks (and dark pact nerf for vs warlock)
IMHO Rush minions are just too simple, some of they can be considered as vanilla rush. They need to produce some kind of different value by their text.
Maybe from next expansion we'll see some new interesting minion to support this mech.
I open this thread to share with you my thoughts about tempo rush warrior, because I think that deck can get better after the nerfs.
The goal is to find the perfect mix between oldschool aggro pirate warrior and the latest tempo version, and finally create a new archetype.
You can post your suggestions, lists and strategies.
Here's mine...
Hench-Clan Thug looks really solid and must be included if we put a lot of weapons in our deck. Can this card synergize with Arathi Weaponsmith ?
Town Crier is a must have. Draws are really important... but which rush minion do we want to draw?
Rush Minions: Which one is really worthing to be included in a competitive deck? Of course sir Darius Crowleyand Rabid Worgen. but Redband Wasp seems weak in lots of matchups.
I mean, it's a pretty fun type of deck - But until the day where it gets it's own Lacky/Skull manacheat cards it won't be more than that: A fun deck. :P
Everything looks bad compared to warlock atm... You can't cheat lackey on turn 5, but you can double/triple cheat cube on t10.
Not everything: Other top tier decks are also doing bullshite :P
IMHO warlock has the best class cards!
Warlocks cards aren't actually very strong compared to other classes cards in general, right now it's just too good because of the amount of healing it were given in recent expansions (which is supposed to be Warlocks biggest weakness) - If you look at most Cubelocks for example you will realize that 1/3 of their deck is actually neutral cards. Warlock having a lot of healing just means that it can just tap a ton without being punished way too easily and that makes the deck too consistent as it draws too much. It were the same thing that made RenoLock strong. If they hadn't decided to remove the weakness of the class by adding Spellstone and Dark Pact it would be fairly easy to counter with Aggro, Burn and some Combo decks. :P (it's kind of like how Shaman became too good after Blizzard decided to give it Maelstrom Portal back in the day, before that it's main weakness were that it had a hard time dealing with decks that went wide on the board like ZooLock)
What about legendaries like guldan dk, godfrey, skull and many others as lackey, void lord and dark pact.. Let's compare power level of these with any other class.. like paladin: Last legendaries are a joke, but he got dudes buff (that looks like a uncreative way to design new interactions)... wow
I think that healing is not only the reason why warlock rules.

IMHO warlock has the best class cards! Spiteful decks depends by luck and can't be compared to cube/control. Even pala is one step behind, but better than tempo mage.

What do you think about the Scaleworm? Can a mini dragon package be added to this list? Example: Marsh Drake + Upgrade! , Cobalt Scalebane , Ebon Dragonsmith, Faerie Dragon
Weapons: Woodcutter's Axe is a must, Arcanite Reaper looks really aggro... , Gorehowl for trades or extra dmg?

No way, 7 mana 4/4 + 12/12 still unfair.
4/4 + 8/8 isnt fair at all.

Obv
No problem sir, just delay the voidlord by a turn

Spiteful still broken, 7 mana: 4/4 + 12/12 or 4/4 + 8/8
Lackey and dark pact are now fair enough
Call to arms still a good card

Quest rogue is the one who can defeat locks...

Bow put pressure, also can garante useful trades on early game.
I tried witchwood piper, it doesnt fit well in a big deck.
As i said before, the cube is the main charged devilsaur win condition
