I was wrong but happy to be wrong! Looks like the self-damage archetype was a one-time spin off for Paladin unless their planning on building an archetype around it later on. Otherwise Dragon Paladin here I come!
This is actually an insane card, the fact that you force your opponent to play around their minions needing board space to come back is crazy good! Plus, 7 8/8 is a threat of it's self that forces your opponent to answer it. Kinda dig this take on Paladin better than the self damage, that was random...
It should not trigger anything, as to my understanding High Priest Thekal converts your health into armor, not take damage (But I could be wrong its been a while lol)
LMAO I totally didn't see that, thanks for pointing it out idk why the turn 10 got stuck with me as in the normal game mode turn 10. The Divine Shield should've given it away lol
Are you kidding me! So you're saying that for a 2 mana spell, which was on a Legendary body for 5 mana, plus drawing a card to guarantee top decking is actually bad? What in the actual F$%@ is going on here. You play this in late game control decks, Cariel same turn or any big minion, colossal, denathrius. This has to be a troll, no way in heaven this is real.
Welcome to the world bud, if the majority dislike your opinion then there must be a mistake with it. No need to bring in foul language to try and prove your case, I have been a Paladin main since the beginning of HS and I know its limits.
Framester is definitely strong, Overload 2 can literally shut a game down if drawn pre 5 mana. Too much disruption for a deck that can repeat its battlecry consistently. Even if you do not draw them early on, it can swing a match AT any point. Idk tbh I could be overthinking it.
Ooh, look at the edgelord calling it racist paladin.
Exactly, such an out of place name. Racist because they only want Paladin cards yet Paladins are diverse internally (humans, elfs, adlors, mechs, dragons) yeah by what definition is it racist. Way to bring garbage labels into a video game.
Which mean running 2 copies is fine since playing one buries the 2nd. Meaning this card is very consistent. It can also be tutored out turn 3 on.
Great idea there! Didn't realize how consistent and powerful it can become late game. Its a safe haven for late game and a decently okayish after turn 5, but anything before turn 5 can become dangerous as you are limiting your plays early on.

A very wild guess:
8 mana 8/8
"Battlecry: For the rest of the game, when your hero takes damage during your turn, deal that much to a random enemy."
