They are my favorite classes. Why? Probably because they are among the most versatile ones.
HS is a child game 6+ or 7+. Children love magic and wizards. Mage will always be the most popular class. Rogue will go second for the similar reason.
Seriously? Give me a break... If that is true, then my theory about men who love to play with big Garrosh 'cause they love to pretend to have big d..ks is too. :P

We all know the current meta sucks ass. There are billions of complaints about various decks, and they are justified - the main problem with the meta is pretty simple. Nothing feels good to play against... or does it?
We have complaints about Mage and Incanter's Flow deciding games on turn 2. We have tons of threads about broken Paladin cards, and how the nerfs weren't enough. We have multiple Priest and Warlock rants, that they don't let you play the game and remove your cards. We have complaints about the ridiculous draw of Rogue and Demon Hunter. But there is one deck I've never seen people complain about - Rush Warrior.
But why exactly? The deck is a definite tier 1 and has an amazing matchup spread, only being unfavored against Warlock and Priest. But there is a very important aspect of the deck - well, its defining keyword, Rush. The main focus of the deck is fighting for the board, and that is something we see less and less often in today's Hearthstone. Also, the deck doesn't rely on swing turns/mana cheat - with Conditioning and Troublemaker being the closest offenders, but that's nowhere near the level of for example Skull of Gul'dan or Glowfly Swarm. And even if you're playing against Rush Warrior and you're unfavored, you at least feel like your plays matter, which sometimes can't be said facing a Priest with 7 Soul Mirrors.
This brings up two very important things. The first is that it's not 100% about the power level of the deck when it's hated by the community - Rush Warrior is almost as powerful as Paladin, yet nobody seems to complain. The second thing is that board-based decks seem to be the most fun to play against for the community, and that's where the game should head to be successful in the future.

Newer players who'd prefer an RNG fiesta to being curb-stomped by a seven year veteran with a perfect meta deck?

I was thinking about the state of the HS community and it feels (to me) like over the previous year or so the community have became very whiny and self centred. It feels like a lot of people are constantly complaining about stuff that aren't really an issue. It almost feels like people will just complain and complain for their own selfish reasons - its like a large majority of the community won't be happy unless they get their own way and its so annoying. Everyone takes everything personally as well - you critique someone statement about a card/deck etc.. and even if you make valid points etc.. they will just attack you personally.
Tickatus is a good example of this. People constantly complain about the card - yet the stats would indicate it isn't OP. So why are people complaining about it? Is it because the deck they want to play doesn't perform well against it so it feels OP to them but they will happily ignore a hard counter to it (probably because that's not the class they want to play). But try to tell someone that and it becomes an insult trading ground.
I just feel like so many are ignorant to the fact that this is a meta based game and not every deck archetype is going to be viable at any given time but people aren't happy with that, they want to play their favourite decks all of the time and they want to be able to wreck every other deck with it (stupidity).
Its like with the DoL stuff, everyone was complaining about the card (and rightly so), yet you would still have a barrage of people defending it (despite statistical evidence proving that it is OP) and most likely defending it only because they like playing the deck and don't want to see it nerfed. Its just stupid because we all know and use Hsreplay - we can all check stats of the cards to see how strong they are etc.. but some people will just ignore those things out of selfishness really.
People just take things way too personally. Its like I'm criticising a point you've made, I'm not insulting your identity. Half of this community are just a bunch of self entitled pussies who cant take any criticism and won't ever be happy until everything goes there way. What happened to the days when the whole community felt like we all together? Yeah, we used to fight like cat and dog over whether cards were good or not etc.. but it was always in good fun, no one took personal offence to things and in the end we could generally all agree on what cards should be nerfed/buffed etc.. These days we couldn't be any further from that.
Just curious what other peoples thoughts on this are, do you agree that the community is in a poor state?

We did not need yet another Tickatus thread. Use the existing threads to discuss the matter, especially if there is very little constructive debate being added with the post.
CLOSED.

Tickatus will still continue shredding you combo / control players hahaha

Dr. Boom, Mad Genius is ok. In this case, remove Reckless Flurry. Instead, I would put Sleep with the Fishes, Iron Juggernaut or maybe Zilliax.

I uploaded the current version I use. Very close to DaneHS version but without Iron Juggernaut and Marin. So real plain but still not so simple.

The complaint about mech hunter not being off-meta is definitely right.
I also felt like there were quite some fatigue warriors around, but statistics say it actually is off-meta.
But this list is a weird and greedy one. I would never play Unidentified shield now Yogg. Imho this list is missing crucial pieces against aggro and midrange like reckless flurry and revenge.
Well, I don't want to complain - I am happy to get something about wild, but there are really so many interesting off-meta decks out there.

Actually it feels pretty good for myself, but you need to be familiar with the play style of these kinda decks they are not straight forward and you need to be very flexible, almost every game you will have different win condition.

Let me translate it for you guys:
I can't play my trash control decks which has 30 removal but no win condition because warlocks spanks so please nerf him. :'(((.
They won't nerf Tickatus in near future, but if they will, you guys will start to cry about Jarraxus because actually he is carrying the deck. I said carrying but it is t3 ~%45 win rate. It is just punishing your trash greedy decks.
