Blizzard: "Here's a new toy for free. You don't have to play with it, but if you want to, we can enhance your experience if you pay us."
Community: "How dare they do this to us!? Hearthstone is ruined! Sham of a company! I only want a full and complete game for free!!"
Did I get that right? Just play it if you want to, and if you like it, spend money on it. If not, don't play/buy anything.
When BGs came out, I tried it a bit, didn't really find it that fun, so stopped playing it. Then when they released the cosmetics recently, I didn't take to the forums to complain about how Blizzard is so greedy for trying to make money off of it. Just let people who like it, enjoy it.
Also, I've played plenty of gacha games and never spent a penny on them. No matter how many times they give you that splash screen with all the cRaZy dEaLs!!! They usually give you plenty of free summons or whatever during your playthrough to enjoy the game. And if you really hit a brick wall and have to pay to continue playing... well, that game gets uninstalled and forgotten.
The thing here is that mercenaries has not replaced regular Hearthstone, it is simply an add-on mode. It's not a problem at all.

My list doesn't run King Phaoris, instead opting for Elise/Floop/Nomi trains in the endgame. So I'm only running one Nourish, but I'm even thinking about going down to 0 copies if I could find a suitable replacement. Nourish is just so awkward when you draw it later on and it either puts you into fatigue or wastes slots in your hand when you play Elise.
In my experience the Druid mirror usually comes down to the following:

Hey fellow Quest Druid players. I've been having good success with my build of Quest Druid, which has very 6 duplicates (Expedition, Wrath, Crystal Merchant, Starfall, Oasis Surger and Hidden Oasis). The deck has a lot of card draw in general, but also some nice targeted draw (Sandbinder picks up Zephrys, Oasis Surger and Siamat, while Witchwood Piper can grab Zephrys or Crystal Merchant). Between the low number of duplicates and the targeted draws, I often have Zephrys or Elise active much earlier in the match, with my record being Zephrys active with 17 cards left.
My problem I've been having though is with Nourish. Often times it feels crazy powerful when you can play it early, but if I draw it later on it often feels too clunky when I'm under pressure or need to empty my hand first. And if you draw it very late, in the last 5 cards or so then it's dangerous to play, but is going to screw with my Elise and Nomi plays. Of course the King Phaoris variants like Nourish because even if you draw it late it still represents an extra threat with Phaoris. I'll post my list below, if anyone has found a suitable replacement for Nourish, I'd be happy to hear it. The card just feels like it's feast or famine in this version.

As a side note, I miss the old Secretkeeper. She was so thick!

Yeah this one took me a while. Is it Secretkeeper?

That's Stampeding Kodo for sure!

I'm not familiar with WoW lore, but isn't The Beast just a specific Core Hound?

looks like a corehound to me

Damn, so much negativity in the comments. I appreciate all the new types of articles lately @RaptorWithWings and the other staff. Don't get discouraged :D For anyone looking for crazy games and decks like the ones mentioned in this article, check out Hysteria on Youtube. He makes lots of cool combo/hearthstone mechanics videos that many of you would find interesting.

I’ve played quite a bit of Jade Shaman in wild and can confirm that it is quite effective. It beats many Control decks and has the tech options to beat aggro and big Priest. It’s very fun too.

Well I’m inclined to agree, but at least it’s getting nerfed to 5 mana in a couple days!
