I don't see Unpopular Has-Been in any deck lists. Is it because it's expensive or some other reason? (insert witty pun about name here). I discovered it in my last game, played it with Undying Allies and it gave me Fen Creeper and a 4/4 undead taunt that does 2 aoe damage(forgot its name).
There are a few bad drops from it and it might be a bit slow, but most of the time a 5 cost minion from a 5/5 that costs 6 mana is an amazing deal. What do you think?
Why would you expect this deck to popular?? It’s name is Unpopular Has-been… of course it won’t be played much. 😂
I feel the exact opposite from OP. I think the theme is too silly (even for Hearthstone), the humor is 100% pop culture references (i.e., the lowest of low-hanging fruit), and the cards themselves are going to be extremely annoying. I know a lot of people enjoy this kind of thing, and more power to them, but it's not for me in any way.
I personally think that One Night in Karazhan was way sillier. Also, this set is very reminiscent of The Grand Tournament or Rastakhan’s Rumble, except they’re battling over music like a battle of the bands. Harness the power of Rock and Roll and make some eyes bleed out of their skulls sounds awesome and totally metal!
Also, come on…. There’s a ton of Annoy-o-bots in this set… so obviously it’s going to get…. annoying! Lol
I personally love this set! The only thing that concerns me is the massive amounts of mana cheating running amok everywhere amongst most classes.
I think everyone is missing the huge advantage here. You can now play self damaging cards and not do any damage to yourself. You can play Knight of the Dead, pop the bubble and bring it back with Holy Maki Roll, then play another card like Sanguine Soldier, and repeat. This card single handedly makes self damage Paladin competitive as there is no longer a downside to playing them.
I have a question: what happens to the discovered cards that aren’t chosen for ETC’s battlecry….? Do they go back into the deck or do they disappear and you can’t access them ever?
Paladin can always go otk with their new Hero power + Smite. They can sprinkle that into any deck. In fact, it fits perfectly in a Paladin Hand Buff deck. And Warriors boosting the attack of Smite.
so playing as a shaman how I can counter owl lock?
You need to run weapon removal to slow them down long enough to smash them with your big minions. Also, Frostbite is great tech as it can easily pull off honorable kill against their void tokens and will make their next spell cost 2 more. Also, Cult Neophyte and Far Watch posts will slow them way down.

Mish Mash Mosher in DK after you play a Dissonant Chord and some other hand buffs makes a great board clear.

It’s a perfect card to play on curve.

I dunno… I think clogging your opponent’s hand is good disruption, plus it’s likely to burn their next card they draw.

I WILL say that this makes Fire Warrior actually playable, and that is something.

I don’t know how good it will be, but it seems like a fun card. It all depends what Fire cards are in this set as we lose a lot to rotation.

I would be interested to know if Seal of Blood would pop a bubble and then replace it after it resolves since it’s a Holy Spell… hmmm

Freeze Shaman works really well against them as it locks up their hoard plus you can keep freezing their weapons.

What does APM stand for? I know what the deck consists of but never got the title.

Big Paladin is faster and can crush Owl Warlock before it has a chance to “take flight”.
