It's a powerful deck but it's existence is important for balance in the Wild format. The deck has many counters but Renolock isn't one of them. Renolock would be undisputed champion of the format without Big Priest. They can outvalue any deck but Big Priest, and the combo decks that usually prey on control decks need to dodge a lot of silver bullets like Gnomeferatu, Dirty Rat and sometimes Skulking Geist. Renolock is also good against aggro because of their many tools and Reno of course.
Countering Big Priest is soooo easy. Rogue has many tools like Sap and Vanish. Mage and Shaman can transform. Warriors have nice little raptors. Warlocks can use Doomsayer + Treachery. Even Tinkmaster Overspark can be thrown in somewhere. Screwing up their res pool is so easy and they immediately lose SO much value. You can then realistically try and control their threats instead of being drowned by infinite powerful res effects. Like half of the classes have tools available by default, other classes have lots of tech options. It's not like Naga where some classes straight up lose the game if the Giants land early. Not to mention good aggro decks always have a chance to run them down before they get their minions out. Also, the decks sometimes is embarrassingly pathetic when they hero power a bunch of times, then Coin + Shadow Essence out a 5/5 Barnes and die.
My jaws that bite. My claws that catch. My jaws that bite. My claws that catch. My jaws that bite. My claws that catch. My jaws that bite. My claws that catch. My jaws that bite. My claws that catch.
Is this a joke post? You grab the pack...go in a circle a few times and drop it in the middle. Then you hover over the cards to see the outline colors for blue/purple/orange. Then you click on no outline followed by blue, then purple then orange. That's the strategy.
Can confirm this is the only viable pack opening strategy.
The card IS OP. No question about it. But the deck is only as good as the support cards. Right now the deck is fair. This will change because next expansion there will be huge support for the deck, and then Shudderwock will get nerfed.
It's a very predictable pattern of Team 5's design strategy at this point.
I would say Renolock. The core will always remain the same but every expansion you can make a few adjustments. Now that Naga is nerfed it's back at full strength. It's an expensive deck to craft but it's very versatile. Every game feels different which makes it fun as well as challenging.
These apps are such bullshit. I've never used a deck tracker in my life and I've reached legend more times than I can count.
Each their own, but I have no respect for players using these apps.
This is the easiest card game ever. Probability is elementary and it's even easier to predict what opponents have in hand because everybody netdecks, decks are only 30 cards and you can't shuffle cards around in your hand. Why not challenge yourself to understand probability or read hands? That way you'll actually gain something useful from playing this game as those skills translate to other aspects in life.
If you just netdeck, use deck tracker and this app to maximize your chances of winning you're actually wasting your time.
This is insane. Auto include for Wild Reno Mage. They play spells but most of their powerful effects like Reno, Kazakus and Jaina aren't. If you only play 5-10 spells you will draw 2.5 cards on average which is busted for 2 mana. Cards like Arcaneologist and Scientist help thin your deck of spells before firing this off too.
Great inclusion for the wild 30 legendary deck. Slowly but surely it's becoming a real deck. It used to be complete garbage, now it's at least tier 17.
The worst cards in the game are the ones that have similar cards that are strictly better and STILL don't see play, like Magma Rager and Booty Bay Bodyguard
Aren't you supposed to be killing your opponents with charging 32/32 Treasure Chests if you use Temporus? Or on 10 mana you can play Marin the Fox and then SW: Pain to get a fantastic treasure in your hand!
Amateurs. I crafted golden The Beast and golden King Krush with the introduction of Standard. My reasoning was that classic legendaries will be the most valuable for the rest of the game because they will always be available in Wild AND Standard. I was looking to craft legendaries from classic that I was missing at the time. I wasn't drunk or anything, but I was definitely very, very high.

Big Priest is NOT an issue.

Nice!
I really wanted to get golden Voidlord and got Blubber Baron! Confirmed wishful thinking only works 50% of the time.
