Yes and no. The first question is whether or not you can do a Highlander deck. Going without the Highlanders this expansion is in general fine. Zephrys the Great will do well in general, but is tailored to Standard format solutions.
In Wild, the solution will always be from the Standard pool, and certain mechanics counters have finicky algorithims. For example, secrets in play will prompt him to offer SI:7 Infiltrator instead of Eater of Secrets or Flare.
My advice is this, can you make a Highlander deck that works without him? If so that's a good sign. Does it have good enough card draw on it's own and the ability to use him multiple times? He is without a doubt one of the most powerful cards ever released because his algorithm is very well written. I would go as far to say as he is on par with the unnerfed version of Yogg-Saron, Hope's End, which in itself acted as a game mulligan and more and swung games when overdraw did not occur.
Using him when you can and at different points can alter the game drastically as well. His low cost means that you can slot Witchwood Piper in to help secure him. There is so much he can do and offer. I think having him will be a positive experience for anybody
That would be bad though, Immortal Prelate's deathrattle retains buffs when shuffled into the deck, reborn second copies, if not buffed after the rebirth, would simply dilute the deck.
TBH, I got 7-3 on Druid by making a 3/4-drop Recruit Druid that also ran two living manas, the thing is figuring out that mana curve, and with a pretty bad arena hero power, you really shoulda made more 2/3 drop minions

Plays Devour Mind to steal 3 random 1 cost cards, I assume warlock since the other card was Void Contract.
One happens to be another Void Contract.
