I don't know why, but I rarely had a problem playing against Deathstalker Rexxar. I seldom lose to them, even when I'm playing decks it's supposedly strong against (like Odd Warrior). I'm just lucky, I guess.
I think the meta will be infested with aggro at the start of the new year, making it tough for any control mage to find its footing. It'll still see play later on though, it's got fantastic synergy with Khadgar.
In one of the pre-release streams, I saw Kripp play Heistbaron Togwaggle with only an EVIL Miscreant on board, thinking it was a lackey. Reminded me of why I don't always take him seriously...
That said, I think those rankings are pretty much acceptable. I can't wait for the rotation!
Here's what I made. I think the bomb package could fit in nicely with a rush shell. The archetype's doing great now, and the addition of bomb cards could bring more devastating damage to your opponent as you rush them down.
Just had my most favorite Grommash Hellscream lethal ever. Here's the situation: I'm playing against a Spell Hunter who's at 10 health, and I have a 12/3 Frothing Berserker on board. He plays a secret, then hits my berserker with Candleshot that tells me he played an Explosive Trap. So I play Grom and charge at his face, the secret triggers, and my now 10-attack Grom smashes against his face after the dust clears. Beautiful.
Tak Nozwhisker - This could make Pogo-Hopper Rogue one of the strongest (and most annoying, for sure) decks in the new meta.
Kalecgos - Incredible effect with a body that's extremely difficult to remove. This could be nasty.
Commander Rhyssa - Secret Paladin is gearing up to dominate the meta, and this card greatly augments that deck and warrants instant removal the minute it's played.
Blastmaster Boom - Bomb Warrior has a lot of support (both in RoS and previous expansions), so this one's gonna be a blast to play!
Heistbaron Togwaggle - Extremely powerful battlecry that's pretty easy to trigger. I'm not sure what Rogue shell it'll fit best in, though.
Lucentbark - This one's potential to annoy is significantly high.
Catrina Muerte - This was close to cracking top 5, but I don't really know what the ideal minions it could resurrect are. Definitely a terror in Wild, though.
What's better than a Grommash Hellscream lethal? Why, a Grom + Frothing Berserker lethal of course, especially when it's against some cowardly Priest. My opponent left my Berserker on board and I had one charge left on my Blood Razor, which set up this perfect lethal. Taste my blades, priest.
Dragon Roar gives me a Deathwing, which I hoped to use as my last resort against this weird Control Handbuff Paladin. After I feel like I've exhausted all of his resources, I drop Deathwing and lean back in my chair, thinking I had the game won.
Then my opponent drops Lynessa Sunsorrow, whom I had completely forgotten about. GG :P
I loooove the feeling of chopping down minions with Sul'thraze in a single turn. It felt especially good after this Zoo Warlock dropped two Happy Ghouls, a Lightwarden, and a Lifedrinker on turn 5 then hit me with a "Well Played," after which I topdecked my Sul'thraze and slaughtered his entire board. Sure, I took 13 damage in a single turn, but pissing all over my aggro opponent's effort to fill his board made it worthwhile.

I'll miss playing this DK, that's for sure.

Best would be:
Commander Rhyssa
Scargil
Blastmaster Boom
Worst:
Oblivitron
Chef Nomi
Vereesa Windrunner

TOP 5 (standard only):

Honorable mentions:
Archivist Elysiana - Interesting card, a boon for control decks.

Catrina Muerte - This was close to cracking top 5, but I don't really know what the ideal minions it could resurrect are. Definitely a terror in Wild, though.

Synergy with Jumbo Imp lol

Edit: I misread the card. It's good hard removal, with the downside of having those minions replaced by 2 more.

Looks like a build-around card, but the effect seems too weak for its cost.

Hunter gets another great 1-drop. This will definitely see play in the new Spell Hunter that Blizz is pushing.
