posted a message on Shadow Reflection is This Week's Brawl!

I had a 12 cards : 18 shadow reflections deck. First 11 of 12 cards were shadow reflections. Only lasted that long because the other dude was playing coldlights.

Make sure you put enough real cards in whatever deck you play.

Hey, don't use cards like Swipe to clear off the Flamewreathed / Earth Elemental. Had Amulet of Domination in my hand and completely brain farted. Lost the free treasure >.>

So yeah, if you want the pole, avoid cards like Swipe, Holy Nova, Hellfire, Consecration, or others. Your only breathing room turn is turn 3, where the 4/1 crab is easy to kill off (make sure you do, or it damages him). Otherwise, all his cards are very value-oriented minions that he skips the downside of.

Because it won't summon minions that you put in his deck through things like Psychic Scream, if i remember correctly.

I had Boots of Haste (minions free this turn) as an artifact, and my passive was Battlecries Trigger Twice, as a druid deck. Jeeru gave me 3 cards, into boots of haste, that my turn 2 was Aya, Aya, Doomcaller. Game ended turn 4, lol.

Definitely punishes decks without a way to dump their hand. In fact, my deck *should* have lost to the mill.

posted a message on New Shaman Card Revealed: Snowfury Giant

In world of warcraft they ARE elementals. Molten Giants from Ragnaros, Mountain Giants from Therazane, and Snowfury Giants assumedly from Neptulon. Arcane giants would be a construct (mechanical) if it's based on a curator-style creation, which means that should be a mech, which it isn't.

All of them SHOULD be classified, but aren't, and I don't know why. But Molten Giant and Mountain Giant and Snowfury Giant should absolutely be elementals based on World of Warcraft lore. Maybe they'll change their classification one day. They already did a mini post-un'goro release overhaul that turned more things into elementals, so they might do it again.

On topic, this is the first giant that's class-restricted, so that's really interesting to me. Maybe they'll make a warrior giant later down the line that costs less for every armor you have. Hmmmmm...

posted a message on New Warlock Card Revealed: Gnomeferatu

What do you mean it doesn't have any effect pre-fatigue??
It removes a card from their deck. It doesn't matter if it's a critical card. It doesn't matter if it is a filler card. They are removing it. Meaning the option that the card provides is negated. It could be a board clear, a single target removal, a late game big value drop, a burn card, an early game card, a utility card, or anything in between - the option that the card provides is eradicated on a 2/3 for 2. And you can theoretically play two of them. It's not always going to get rid of THEE most important card, but it likely WILL impact their deck heavily if it burns any kind of thing. Burning even one consecrate, equality, wild pyromancer, tirion, sunkeeper tarim, etc will heavily impact a paladin deck, for example.

It's not braindead broken, but it DOES impact the game heavily for a well-statted 2 drop.

posted a message on New Card Reveal - Corpsetaker

Just remember friends, the text says if your deck HAS, not if you deck STARTED with. This is really good in paladin, unless you draw tirion and wickerflame, in which case you have a 4 mana 3/3. To get really consistent with it, you have to put more than 1 taunt/DS/LS/WF in the deck, or you lose it if you draw the card before you play/draw corpsetaker.

Insane card, for sure, but on a time limit.

posted a message on Paladin Legendary Card Revealed: Bolvar, Fireblood + 3 More!

But it's not getting outvalued. You have to spend the divine shields with Blood Knight. You get to USE the divine shields on bolvar. This is particularly impactful on things like tirion, sunwalker, or other high-value divine shield cards against other big minions. For example (not a standard constructed situation, but a quick one) - tirion on board, versus a 6/6 minion. You'd be left with bolvar as a 3/7 and a 6/6 tirion instead of a 6/6 blood knight and a dead tirion.

Sometimes you want to use divine shield, not consume it.

I'm actually shocked to learn SuperJJ is on Complexity while Lifecoach is on G2. I knew the latter, but I always assumed SuperJJ was on the same team, since they're basically brothers at this point.

posted a message on New Card Reveal: White Eyes
N'Zoth+White Eyes..wins a fatigue war, or at least allows you to draw without comprimising it, works with (god help me) Ancestral Spirit, and in wild, Reincarnate...hmm. in a world where shaman has the tools necessary for late-game threat decks, which Jade Golem decks would like, this is the perfect addition for beatdown. You just get increasingly more threatening the later the game goes on. And because shaman has always been so aggressive, they have a lot of spell related tools to keep the board.
It likely won't be competitive, but this could be a very solid, balanced, and versatile deck archetype. Spell removal, a cairne, sylv, white eyes, MAYBE an ancestral spirit, and tie it together with n'zoth. Fill the rest of the deck with solid taunts (earth elemental?), threats (ragnaros?), and jade golem minions, and you've got a very strong beat-down, 'every turn is powerful' deck.

Stronger than aggro shaman though? Eh, probably not. But strong.
