I played it a bit for a dozen of games or so today running the old stealth package + 1 sap and polkelt. The deck is still feeling very solid versus almost any deck except druid. I'm not sure it's the best rogue at the moment but it's definitely competitively viable.
The reward is really underwhelming compared to what you would get for 10 regular arena runs. Even assuming 1 pack = 100 gold, the average payout is 696 gold and the median outcome is 300 gold. Quite a ripoff.
I don't like the idea of people trying to hard counter each other, facing various matchups and adapting to what you are facing with the deck you have is what's the ladder is all about.
If you offer people the possibility to counter each other it would narrow down the ability to play a wide range of decks and strategy and would increase polarization, not even mentioning how unfriendly the game would be to beginner and F2P players with a smaller collection.
I play against a lot of non meta builds (highlander shaman, totem shaman, gala warlock, spell mage...) as well as a lot of cheap aggro decks in casual.

Why isn't "insert obscure deck that OP lost against" ban yet?

I wish OP would bother to do a tl;dr because nobody isn't going to read a wall of text which isn't properly structured.

What kind of decks do you play in casual?

ps: the best anti-aggro combo in the deck is pyro + apotheosis for aoe healing.
