I feel like a viable fix for the snake (seeing as how the devs seem to want to keep the health stealing effect) would be to make it similar to the Rogue Mining Reward where mining 4 extra times matters. It could steal 5 health baseline but you excavate 8 times to have it steal 10 instead. That way the snake can still be strong enough to be worth working towards, but it also means mining warlocks have to keep playing the game since that’s not strong enough to bounce constantly. It’s just a more creative solution if they don’t go the damage and lifesteal route
It felt random adding Un’goro to Twist when it’s in the middle of all the expansion already there. But I choose to believe it’s because of the most recent expansion is Titans. As a wise Tol’vir once said, “Un’goro Belongs To The Titans!”
The only buff I can think of to make Frost Queen Sindragosa remotely viable is getting rid of the Blood Rune, which I never really liked the fact that it had. I get wanting to be cautious with power level, but I think Frost Death Knights not being able to run The Frost Queen herself is goddamn ridiculous.
Can we please reign in Hollow Hound a bit? I think I wouldn’t mind it as just a Death Knight card, but Hunters having ways to duplicate and buff it so easily is a pain and very out of character. A lifesteal minion would be fine, but stupid amounts of healing is just weirdly extra annoying because the class isn’t really supposed to be doing that.
I kinda like the idea of this one more than the other Titans revealed so far. It’s abilities that stack upon the same thing where the order you choose them makes for interesting decision making rather than 3 big unrelated effects.
I’ve always hated Twig of the World Tree, but not for the same reason as everyone else. For those of you who don’t know, Gonk, the Raptor was going to be a 5-drop, but it letting Twig activate too early was, as they put it, “not an okay circumstance”. Sure, I could understand their logic at the time. Once Sphere of Sapience was allowed to exist I wasn’t on their side on that one anymore. At that point, Gonk really wouldn’t have been the way people use Twig and therefore not a problem at 5 mana. That stupid stick is the reason the best Raptor is so hard to use. As anyone who reads Double Decker articles on this site have noticed by now, any time a set includes attack synergy, a Gonk deck will make the cut. I don’t expect him to be viable. I just want my Jurassic nonsense to be less of a headache to use. I know they’ll never buff him since they only seem to reverse nerfs for wild cards and Gonk’s change was during development. I just want to put this out there since it’ll be the only time this rant is relevant.
Who else is excited for Warrior decks this year? We got a Rastakhan Legendary Reprint, 5 Mana do-nothing, Walmart Brand Relics, and directly worse versions of cards other classes have or are getting and calling it Menagerie support. Such a thrilling start for Warriors.

Here's more highlights that aren't included in this article. Bonus Point to whoever knows where the voice line for Reno Jackson swearing came from.

After like 100 fan made concepts for cards that craft a custom weapon, they finally made one that’s official!
Now we wait for the legendary that builds a custom location.

For those of you wondering what to do with that tiny bit of extra mana after playing your 9 or 10 drop, here’s a fun little thing to think about.
If your first play is Ysera the Dreamer, she gives you above average on-curve plays for your first four turns.

Now’s as good a time to post this as any.

When predicting what cards would get their nerfs reversed, who had EVIL Miscreant on their Bingo card?

I’m curious what Big Priest players will owe once we conclude Tavern’s Fiscal Year.

Could give it the High Priest Thekal wording; Convert 5 of your hero’s Health into Armor.
