Well imo the card needs a nerf. Especially due to cost reduction the card itself can give you a mana crystal (or sometimes even two). One of the reasons, why spell mage is pretty good right now is also because the pool of cards which can be dsicovered (and gained by deck of luna) is smaller and doesnt have that much really shitty clunky spells.

The card is trash but somehow I managed to get the achievment in Wild. I just build my own deck with 2 copies of each beast with 1/2/3/4/5/6/7 mana cost, incluced the 6 mana hunter beast which reduced the cost of a random beast. Then you hope that it hits rhino. Climbed from silver something to Gold 7 lol dunno how I even managed to win. Did it just for the acm, in standard probably not possible. And he never lives for a turn.

Thanks team 5 once again it’s proof that Iksar and co don’t playtest at all. They don’t care about this product.

Iksar stated, they hire designers, not players. Thats why they got no clue at all, iksar is a former restaurant consultant. DH release and the many nerfs following it, is the best example that they dont playtest. Iksar too busy playing World of Warcraft.

Oh and I forgot the BG animations. Especially if you want to play pirate. People arent cheating, Blizzard could easily fix it :)

A lot of the stuff they did is good but it came very late. For example, duplicate protection, the battle pass and the rewards for PLAYING the game, NOT for WINNING the game. (The 10 gold per 3 WINS imo was awful n motivated ppl to play fast hyperaggro decks). They do more nerfs and quicker than the previous times.

HS still has many flaws and I guess thats why people feel negative towards the devs. Demonhunter is a good example. Do we really need a hyperaggro class? Look how many cards got nerfed, it really seems like they do no play testing at all. Or remember snipsnap? When they didnt realize the priest combo? So they had to do a quick fix of that priest epic card which reduced mana cost of deathrattle minions.

Personally I dislike the devs a lot. Im a big fan of BGs, but its so horrible that BGs has so many flaws and noone of the devs gives a shit, especially Iksar. The damage you take early turns is way too high. The game is over before it really started in many cases. The matching system in a game is horrible, for example in the past you faced Opponent A, then B, then A again - they fixed that. But you still can face A, then B, then C, then A, then B. It feels so horrible especially if you have to play against Millhouse which puts you down to 50% after 5 Turns. Iksar is bragging on twitter with his BG acms, yeah cool kid, using internal data probably so he knows which heroes/minons are good :) He maybe should play some TFT and expand his mind. In TFT you face every opponent before you face someone twice. In BGs, I end up with games where I faced the same opponent 3 times, while others 0 times! Complete BS. It would actually involve skill if they did it like in TFT because if you keep track of ur opponents you can predict which one you will face next and adjust your strategy. Also the balance of the heroes, there is such a big difference between the power level. Usually in autobattlers you face the computer early turns and take no damage so you can look which minions to go for. In BGs, the early turns are already important, especially because you can take a lot of damage already, even if you try to spend ur gold wise.

EDIT: I dont mind paying for the game, Im kind of a whale, I always  preorder, buy skins, bundles, whatever,I dont even mind spending money on BGs but what they offer in return is shit.

    posted a message on Ropers
    Quote from z7oka >>

Wild player here, playing since beta. I see the different points of views in the thread and I agree with all of them, from which:

    • 'Ropers are not doing anything Illegal'. Yup
    • 'This mechanic has been exploited by XP farmers recently'. Agreed, I didn't see that many ropers since 2014 until last expansion.
    • 'Try to do something else on the side when you see a roper'. Agreed, save your energy, there's no point of emoting or roping back, just get done with it. It's kinda hard if you are playing on your phone though.

Now that I stated the obvious, I think unless Blizzard implements a crowd reporting system (Think Call of Duty / Warzone system), farming bots will be there forever.

Yesterday, I was laddering in wild from Bronze 3 to Diamond 5, out of which 19 games played on PC and recorded in the deck tracker, out of which I encountered 5 ropers (2 of them are definite bots, hero powers and rope, overdrawing, dumb bot anyone can code in minutes).

I decided to collect Bnet Ids of those players along with class, duration and archtype. Not sure what will I do with them yet or how will we benefit from it eventually. If someone wants to share/contribute to this list let me know.

Shortly after the new exp system I did face a bot. Trying to report them is a waste of time:

    1. You dont have an ingame report feature. Im not a dev/coder/w/e but I assume its not hard to implement such a system.

    2. What you can do is, you can email blizzard, they have a seperate email adress for that (hacks@blabla)

Well the problem with the email is:

I did send them an email. I provided my bnet tag, the name of my opponent, a screenshot of the game, the region I was playing on, the date and time. So, as you now can probably understand: Some dude has to read the email, check for that EXACT game I was playing (because you cant see ur opponents bnet tag) and then check if they bot or not. This is complete bullshit. My email was sent around xmas, so nearly 2 months ago, I never received an answer. I assume nothing happened. Literally nothing. They probably dont even care at all. I assume blizzard has programmers who could easily code it within a day, but as long as the devs are the ones who are in charge, nothing will happen. As they said, they dont hire players, they hire designers. Iksar is a former restaurant consultant. Nuff said.

Classic blizzard solution, trying to cure symptomes instead of the illness. The problem is the game itself, the animations are way too long, especially if someone has Elistra etc. You end up with turns of 60 seconds in the late game! Or if you want to play patches/pirates, all the animations fuck up the game. Wish they would fire Iksar already, he is so far away from the reality. I play on PC, mobile, tablet and on all 3 devices you get fucked by these stupid animations. BG has several issues (facing the same opponents over and over, damage u take in the early game, etc etc) and they just do nothing.

What a useless BG nerf, seriously. The biggest problem in BGs is the highroll and the fkin damage you take in the early game. Yeah sure, change one minion. Jesus christ, those devs are amateurs. ALSO: the matching system in the game SUCKS. There are opponents which I face 3 times in a game while facing other opponents not a single time!

Have you actually tried the link that was also provided here? hacks@blizzard.com through an email.

As if that would work. I faced a bot at xmas, he was pressing heropower and then moving the mouse over it for the rest of the turn, doing nothing else. roping every fkin round. I did make a screenshot, sent blizzard an email with region, time, my acc etc but im 100% sure NOTHING will happen. Especially if its a system OUTSIDE the system (in this game outside the actual game). Coding an ingame feature would take little time and the result would be good, they get reports, they check reports, done. In this case, they have to check EMAILS, then search within their system for the game etc, it sounds complicated as hell, because you cant see the bnet acc of your opponent. Overall, just fucking stupid after so many years. Spagehtti code is real.

posted a message on What is Lifecoach's day job?

I used to play a lot of Poker when the Poker-Boom started with Pokerstars especially (like 10 years ago)

I assume the winnings you mentioned are from tournaments which are totally different from cash games. In Poker tournaments you pay to pay the entry, get chips and have to "survive" some time to get into the money (=reaching a place which grants you money from the prize pool). You have to play till youre out of the tournament. Cash games are different, you go to a table with your money and play, you could win 1000$ with your first hand and leave the table after that round and keep the money!

Some poker players are good tournament players, some are good cashgame players, allrounders are not so common imo, as both types of play follow a slight different strategy. There are some crazy poker players who love to play high limits, who love the risk, isildur for example, he earned millions in cashgames but also lost millions. Life coach seems like a very rational guy so I assume he did make a good profit with cashgame poker.
