F2P who used to grind daily for 100g with Face Hunter are a bit screwed, but it doesn't mean that all F2P are screwed.

Those who played 2-3 games a day and possibly long ones with controlish decks definitely benefit from the new system for example

Not only aggro players are affected. No matter if you play control, against aggro you win or lose in less than 5 minutes, unless you like to rope every turn to roleplay as a chess grandmaster.

Well FTP is pretty screwed, I've played continuously for 3 hours ranked and I got 7 xp per minute.

    For level 16 and the 100 g reward I need 2400 xp.

2400 / 7 minutes = 342 minutes (~ 6h) required to get the 100 gold reward from level 16 through grinding. Before the patch I was able to grind the 100 gold cap with aggro in less than 2h 30m (with conceding against priests and slow decks).

You WON'T be able to get the same rewards with the SAME time invested as before the battle pass.

posted a message on New Shaman Epic Card Revealed - Magicfin

If you play murlocs you already know you need your murlocs to live and you either kill your opponent by turn 5-7 or you just simply lose. The random legendaries won't be of any use. A simple card like Murmy is much useful for the murloc archetype than this card.

posted a message on Wild aggro is obnoxious

but who is to blame though ?

I've tried so many combo decks and every time I get my combo ruined by Dirty rat, by Skulking geist, Illucia, so i've decided to just simply play aggro if people like to screw decks around.

Let's all play control again so these guys can have fun ruining our fun. Yeah sure. What goes around, comes around buddy.

Every card is a wild one and only the last 2 years are standard so each deck always contains 30 wild cards.

posted a message on Hearthstone is GREAT!

It's good to see positive people, but the games and things in general are made better by the negative feedback.

We got Blitzchung unbanned after people complaining. The new hero portraits (Jaina, Rexxar, Spooky Uther) are being updated drastically because people complained. Star Wars battlefront 2 got the microtransactions removed after people complaining.

The next time you walk next to a park, try to think how many complaints were needed to avoid that green area to become a profitable parking place or a restaurant. When your boss requests your feedback, never be negative to demand a raise, that would go against your positive values and make you a hypocrite. Just tell him that he is the best boss of all time and wait for other people to complain and profit from their complaints.

My bet is that you disenchanted some legendaries and you expected to get them back due to duplicate protection.

posted a message on I’ve never regretted anything as much as duels

Most of HS streamers have a direct interest to please Blizzard. Those invitationals they organize giving streamers 100.000 $ for playing 4 hours of BGs, soon Duels probably, are the carrot they use to silence any possible critic voice. Otherwise they would have Savjz's fate whose invite was removed because his wife publicly criticized a Blizzard nobble.

Most of the streamers gave up quickly on Duels. Not a big surprise, the streamers that are 100 % focused on Duels are Kripp and Kibler, the ones that were invited to present the new game mode, but I guess it's just a simple coincidence, I wouldn't expect from them or Blizzard to be lying about anything.

posted a message on 18.6 Patch Notes - Battlegrounds Updates - New Game Mode: Duels! - Pre-purchase

The current Tavern pass is only for Battlegrounds. It costs 20 € at the beginning of expansion, and then half the price when you reach the new expansion. The new tavern pass will be different.

Tavern pass is not included in the preorder, only the Battlegrounds pass.

The price for the tavern pass has not been made public, but I know they've said it will be paid, not obtainable through gold, so you will need some extra money besides your preorder fee.

Just because someone is not agreeing with something, it does not mean that he hates that. I like the new Xpac, the old gods mechanichs, but I just don't agree that it's new nor innovative. Can you provide some arguments or will you just act like the typical Iphone users that claim their phone is always new and innovative, but never know why.

The tavern pass is just the classic battle pass everyone uses today (Rocket league, Fortnite, etc). You have two paths, one paid and one free to make you feel like you are missing out on many things in order to buy the paid one.
The new game mode is just a merge between their arena mode and dungeon runs.

Achievements ? they already use that system on WOW since 2010. Those are the gamer's "homeworks", addictive component that will give you the feeling of achieving something and progressing.

So what's new and innovative ?

posted a message on New Game Mode: Duels

I've tried to watch few games on Twitch. It's painfully boring to watch them.

I also Despise the idea of forcing our hand to preorder to play it. As a person that always preorders the 80 dollar bundle even if I have 20k gold, I will skip this one and buy packs with gold.

    Don't support predatory marketing strategies.
