Druid seems to be getting quite a lot of Poison. While it's slow; it is a workaround to the fact that Druid has awful single-target removal for large minions.
I really like it. Firstly; it can be used alongside 'onattack/on kill' effects; such as Finja to protect the main body.
Secondly... a favorable trade is something that you can never say is bad.
Thirdly; 2/4 may not be the best 3 drop body; but it does trade for a 3/2 and live.
And it's a common. So expect to see this guy everywhere in Arena; where games could be decided Turn 3's by who has this card and gets a free trade on the enemy 2 drop.
It is a little concerning how much of a powercreep this card is over a class card [Stablemaster] as a common neutral; but then you remember Stablemaster was an Epic; which usually are situational cards and more often than not are bad. It was also a TGT card; which was probobly the weakest expansion in the history of the game because Blizz at that point REALLY didn't want another Naxx/GvG.
I mean as much as the Ice Rager and Heckler powercreeps are joked about; this is easily the biggest powercreep card in the entire game [Class -> Neutral; which generally lowers power. Better body; and no tribe limit]; which does set a precedent for powercreep. This level of powercreep is not a joke and should be something for concern.
Hall of Fame is not on a per-set basis; but a per-year.
Knights of the Frozen Throne will almost certainly not see Hall of Fame expansion. That said; when the next standard year rolls around; I fully expect them to remove Gadgetzan Auctioneer. Surprised it didn't go the first time.
This isn't just a 'Murloc Shaman' card. This is a card that can function as a toolbox if you splash in whichever of these four Murlocs you want to run for utility purposes.
Wonder if you play this with no Murlocs if you just whiff; or if you get Tinyfins [Like Sense Demons gives you Worthless Imps]
Turn 1 Northshire Cleric turn 2 Shadow Ascendant is 10 stats on board on Turn 2; with potential to draw later from your 2/4 Cleric; and further snowball.
Turn 1 Elemental into this is 8 stats on board with a card added to your hand when the Elemental dies.
Also Priests have this little card for 1 mana called Power Word: Shield which can easily make this a 2/5.
This is going to be run 2 of in every Priest deck; and for that reason I voted Meta-Defineing. If you cannot deal with buffed Cleric+This quickly you can just outright lose.
Instaconcede with beasts. Until you roll elementals and get a free win. Abandon Brawl. Warlock is also instaconcede because loldemon synergy spells.
Of course; with my luck; I got Beasts 4 times in a row; then got a Warlock Elemental which got nothing but high cost Elementals [The only scenario where Elementals can lose; Elementals have targeted effects and boardclear; Beasts don't]; while the enemy Mage Unstable Portaled into Dr Boom.
Is the immediate impact big enough to justify 10 mana? I dunno. But drawing just 4 cards is worth 7 mana in Rouge... so with 5 cards being 8~9 mana on it's own; this card IS great value...

'Foolish Hunter! Now I can get a 3/3 for 2 on Turn 2!'
But seriously; remember this works with Lifesteal.

Oh hey; another Priest archetype is getting a card.

Feral Spirit is now a Neutral card!

Did you know; Hearthstone only has 8 classes?
Warlock? What's that?

2.8 is not worth 6 mana.
2/8 is not worth being a class card [power boost] and 4 extra mana over Dirty Rat.
2/8 is not worth being a class card and 3 extra mana over Deathlord.
This card is bad.

Would have been good back in the days of Raptor Rouge.

It's a card only good against a 1 specific deck that 1 specific class plays.
Eater of Secrets wasn't played. This won't see play except MAYBE in tournaments as a tech card in conquest format in a specifically anti-druid deck.
Also worth noting when Gadgetzan rotates out next year; this card will be completely worthless.

We get it Blizzard; you want Murloc Shaman to be a thing.
But seriously; Shaman draw cards are so rare it's hilarious.
Outside of the obvious 'Murloc Deck' however; this can be a tech card in any shaman deck; if Shaman chooses to run specific Murlocs.
Specific Murlocs you may want to splash into your deck and search out:
Bluegill Warrior - Charge answer; that can be used in tandem with Flametounge Totem. Can also be used to push for extra face damage; especially with Bloodlust
Bilefin Tidehunter - Gives a cheap 1/1 taunt to block a hit.
Coldlight Oracle - Remember that thing about Shaman card draw? How about you thin your deck by 2; and then draw 4.
Brrrloc - Freeze on demand!
This isn't just a 'Murloc Shaman' card. This is a card that can function as a toolbox if you splash in whichever of these four Murlocs you want to run for utility purposes.

Only to get Beasts again.

Hmm, not sure what to think about this.
