Relying on the brann combo isent going to win you the game though, its too much of a reactive combo and is too slow for what this deck would be trying to do, the true weakness of these cards is that you trade tempo early for tempo later, but with this card it costs so little in comparisson to the Grimmestreet minions that the tempo lose is basically not even there, as for too many spells in deck not really because in this type of deck you wouldnt play many spells besides these 2 anyways, just alot of high value minions and a couple draw mechanics, old aggro decks played 2 blessing of might/kings and multiple other clear/draw spells and those were even harder to use because it required you to already have a board state to use them, but they made it happen and aggro paladin was top tier for awhill

If you can hit this on Argent squire and Acolyte of Pain turn 1, thats a shielded minibot and a 2/4 draw 2 cards almost gauranteed on the following turns, this card in some cases only need to hit 2 cards to be very strong, let alone hiting 5+ cards, which is what makes it look so powerful

How has no one mentioned dragon curator paladin yet lol, dragon cards are already overstated, 3 mana 4/6 blackwing technician too balanced?, curator in some dragons and kodo's and pop this bad boy on all 5+? yes pls

And guess what, dragonfire potion does nothing against 5 mana 6/6 dragon consorts lol

    Smuggler's Run = 2 mana for 12 stats over 5 cards

    vs

Grimmestreet Outfitter =  4 mana for 18 stats over 5 cards

Conclusion: If you dont run Brann(or just dont have the combo which will be most of the time) then Smuggler's Run is a much stronger tempo play as it can be used way earlier and therfore allows you to recuperate the lost tempo faster, sure grimstreet can be buffed by other grimstreets but often times you use these early and with your other high value minions instead of using them both together which seems like a waste

The power of this card hinges on how much slower the meta will be, this card will be top tier if we have a midrange meta(GvG meta) where both players are siting on a 4+ hand of minions playing on curve then this card will be godlike, if the meta ends up like shaman meta where you will lose on turn 4 unless you play a 2 mana 3/4 then it will be bad

But with the new zombie chow that heals yourself, and wickerflame it looks like the meta will be slowing down quite a bit and give grimsteel a chance to do its job

People are really stuck on this atrocious meta that we have now, where most players have quit and dont even play anymore, where 2 mana 3/4's rule and you lose on turn 4, you would not even think of palying a card like this in your life, but with shaman losing a ton of its power and tempo mage geting gutted cards like these will be able to show their value and we cannot say just yet how good they will be, its basically a hero power with an insane effect, and hero powering on turn 2 is just fine in a balanced meta

its quite useless if u are not priest it just trades with 3/2.you summon this guy then when u get to use him he is 3/5 then u tradein 3/2 and at begining of next turn he dies.this card is absolute trash because he is 3 mana minion that trades with 2 mana minion

a 3/2 2 drop? i havent seen one of those in years, no one plays 3/2's because they trade into 1 drops and if you are i feel sorry about your deck, 2/3's and 1/3's are much more common, and it trades into two of those before dying, this card can trade 1 for 1 with a ghost wolf

Seems like a staple neutral in any midrange deck, whats so good about this card is that its going to trade with atleast one other 2 or 3 drop and still have enough health to trade into something else or go face,  people are not going to want to waste removal on it because they know its going to die anways leting it wreck even more havoc, crazy with buffs and heals, i love this card

    OK I need to vent

Paladin has fallen since the start of standard. Rightly so, as secret paladin absolutely destroyed the meta. The problem at the moment is that paladin has no win condition. come the release of the next adventure expansion, anyfin will be rotated out, and paladin will have no way of competing with other control decks, let alone decks in general. what paladin needs is either a control style win condition or an early game so good old fashioned midrange paladin can make a comeback.

This card, and the other paladin cards released so far, answers none of it

The problem isn't that they are bad cards, it's that they are bad cards for their rarity. If this card was an epic, and i could run two of it, I'd say it's a great card. But it isn't. It's our legendary. It's our big win condition card. and it's a shielded minibot mixed with a mistress of pain. you know, mistress of pain. the card EVERY warlock auto included two of right?

but wait I hear you cry. This card has great synergy with buff cards, and paladin has loads of those. so maybe i should give it more credit, right? Well funnily enough, blizzard added two 3 mana legendarily before with synergy with buff cards in the past, and rest assured, fjola and aegis don't see play to this day. So I'm not confident.

and to top it all off, the heal effect. Oh my god the heal effect. Many people are saying It's a great anti aggro tool, but is it really? Let's think about it. paladin lacks a turn 2 play at the moment. so assuming you have no way of combating your opponents 2 drop, this card dies to two minions. let that sink in. Paladins legendary is a 3 mana shielded minibot which heals 4 health. Maybe 6 if we're lucky. in comparison, paladin runs 2 forbidden healing and a ragnaros lightlord. paladin has more in deck heals than priest. Why did we need another healing legendary? Just...ugh.

the rest of the paladin exclusives include a strictly worse divine favour which is an epic, a strictly worse loot hoarder which requires ANOTHER card to get it's deathrattle draw effect (and it's our 2nd epic, for whatever reason), and getaway kodo, which i actually like because of the kodo tirion dream, but it is a paladin reprint of duplicate though.

So to conclude, i want to say I love paladin. When midrange paladin existed I played it to death. It is my only golden class, and I'm proud to say I've never used a mysterious challenger before. It breaks my heart to see my favourite class getting shafted like this. Still, all is not lost. we haven't seen the full set yet. maybe some more accessible buffs will come up. Maybe the Grimey goons faction will include cards which automatically buff cards you play, turning this card into a threat. Who knows, maybe that would be the card paladin needs, allowing the 1 drops drawn through that 3 mana epic to be good. Only time will tell. For now, I'm not convinced.

win condition isent the problem right now for paladin, nzoth paladin was top tier untill broken shaman and tempo mage just started to roll over it, nzoth is paladins win condition the problem is geting to nzoth before dying, and this plus all those heals might make nzoth paladin tier one again if nothing crazy comes out for the other classes
the other classes are losing ALOT compared to paladin next rotation, nzoth paladins worst matchups are going to undoubtable get weaker (mostly midrange shaman) and the game is going to get slower with all those efficient heals
oh and there's never too much healing, anything that makes aggro players cry is a good thing

Divine Shield costs around 1 mana. Taunt 1 mana. A 2/2 1 mana. So on that note the card is balanced.
Not sure how much of a difference its unique effect will have on turn 3-4 HOWEVER due to taunt+divine shield+ this effect the card is an excellent late game addition. And in the 3 mana slot which paladins lack. So i think it's good pity it's a legendary.

except all those in one card is suppose to make it overcost, which it isent, all whill having synergy with BoK and whatever else you can throw on it, only bad part about this card is you can only have one

Honestly why...Buff cards are too resource heavy, let me know when a paladin deck that runs 3+ buff cards becomes Tier 1, even a Tier 2 deck (protip: it won't)

....Midrange Paladin used 2 blessings of kings, infact this card is overpowered as a turn 7 play with blessing of kings, also why do you need a blessing with this? its a very good card on its own
This card is even on par with shielded minibot for its value, if ONLY i could have 2
