Tour Guide ends up being edged out by Frizz ( both cards allow Dragonqueen to trigger twice )
Paladins on the other hand are a 50/50 situation. Deck has a TON of spell generation amplified by the quest. If you land cards that transform or silence, it's a win. ( and there are plenty of them, plague, hex, devolving missiles, 1-mana silence ). Plus 2 Zephrys's allows two hexes if you play your cards right.
If your luck is bad with the spell generation...yeah.....lights out against a paladin.
As time permits, I'm going to come back and update this deck. If you're like me and love playing the underdog shaman role, would be curious to hear revisions people would propose.
It's that time again. I've covered Galakrond Shaman ( i.e. Galakrond, The Tempest ) . Wanted to chime in with my two cents on this mess of a card. Hope you enjoy!
Wait....so this adventure will have 35 collectible cards? I assumed these cards would be adventure only, but we're saying these cards will be usable in multiplayer?

Based on Blizzard's recent nerfing habits, my bet is on:
Elysiana goes to 9 mana.
The baleful banker/Elysiana play is problematic. My guess is devs figured stashing two cards for this combo wouldn't be workable since two slots are sacrificed for an end game play, but it clearly does work. She needs to be a one-off
Preparation gives two mana rather than three ( similar to nerf to naturalize )
Blizzard's made it clear that they don't want the classic/basic sets to set the tone for the Meta, but rather provide tools for the class possibilities and fill in the gaps of whatever the expansions offer. The rogue sets are quite strong so we're likely about to see a similar nerf bat taken to Rogue like we saw to Paladin last year.
Maybe they go further, but this one simple change covers a lot of bases. Raiding party pushed back a turn at least. Edwin combos not as big. Pretty much the strong plays are pushed back a turn with this change. Also makes sense from a $ standpoint. Leaves legendaries alone and refunds only an epic.
Too many freeze mage support cards got hall of famed. Freezing still definitely has a role to play in aggro but ice block and ice lance are in the hall of fame. Community feedback that I recall was negative to the freeze mage strategy. New tools might make it better than it’s been in a while but I doubt we’ll see it be as dominant as it once was.
Has to be quest rogue. Nerfed twice and took a giggling inventor nerf to soft nerf it a third time. Never been so happy to see a card rotate. That stubborn cockroach just wouldn’t die.

Blue Steel? Le Tigre? They're all the same look!

To be honest.....I agree on learning the meta, but nerfs give meta shifts which is always a nice change of pace.

Recent "Adventures" only had solo content additions. Pleasantly surprised to see a switch back to the old format.

With Descent of Dragons upon us, time to dive into my personal favorite Dragon, Deathwing, Mad Aspect. Hope you enjoy!
To avoid any confusion, I've updated the main post with the new video, and have put my first post here below:

The stats are roughly that of a chill wind yeti with a one cost increase and a conditional battle cry. Harrison is the perennial tech card.
Weapons project will rotate out eventually and Harrison will go back to a more risky tech card that’s a tempo loss when the battle cry doesn’t hit.

Tbh I’m more excited that desthknights are rotating. Means we’ll see a wider spectrum of decks not constrained by one or two ungodly good cards
