Curious about banker and waste warden. Don't see too much silence these days, so maybe banker is a safe play? Does warden work often, and better than xyrella?
You think that's bad? I just fought a no-minion mage which should have been an easy win. Found a Bladefist off studies, but also had the card in my deck. Drew darn near perfectly for 10 turns - no minions.
Send the conjured Bladefist into a perfect trade on 9
Turn 10, play Ripper on curve, get Kargath Bladefist
Turn 11, play second Ripper , get Kargath Bladefist
The crap thing about these decks is that pit commander's passive won't trigger the summon's passive on the same turn, making him TOTAL useless garbage. If they changed the card to a battlecry, spellburst, or a "whenever" with some condition, like "when your hero attacks" it could breathe life into this archtype. The latter would even give incentive to play Warglaives...
I understand that if they ever changed the "end of turn" rules, Vargoth would become broken in priest especially.
Thought I'd post my final revision because I just love to hate this deck. The theme is too good, even though it's like tier 7 sadly. You're best match up is aggro, and you auto lose to control, so it's better to sub some more early game in and cut the greed.
-2 lightforged blessing (too slow)
-2 hammer of the naaru (too slow)
-1 Colossus (don't have, and probably too slow)
+1 call to adventure (boost Vargoth and prevent auto concede by pulling and losing him in a duel), otherwise dead card. Maaayyybe could be filled by the sidequest which I don't have, or angler rod. But definitely a <4 cost card. This deck auto-loses against all meta control decks, don't even bother trying.
+2 snack run (don't even really like this card, but you are often desperate against hunter which SHOULD be an easy match up!)
+1 blessing of wisdom
+1 Sword of justice (you desperately need more proactive early plays with this deck, and works nice with barricade)

may be fun eventually, if they don't destroy mage with nerfs. Right now matches are 100% anti-mage rogue, hunter, etc. It's hopeless.

is secret passage worth it here? All it does is fill your hand with unactivated plushies

gratz on legend and thanks for the detailed guide

I like it. Indeed Priest was a waste of time. I was crushed by the typical secret libram Pally though. Don't see how this deck is favored.

Just whomped Anduin for 30 damage OTK (with Hammer already equipped). Took 16 turns to prepare, but hey. Feels good,

Why Al'ar specifically? Would scrapyard, moonfang, or something else be better?

So. Much. Value. I love it. Finally a reason to use all these Warrior legendary and the new Rokara portrait. Well played

This is a deck from the book of mercenaries?
I would replace 1x hog with ETC is you have it. This deck has no way to deal damage without a board sticking.

Literally helpless against warlock.
Hopefully get some better match ups tonight and fix this 0-5

Would dilute your chances to buff Moonfang tho, that's why inconspicuous is in there
