Since getting a chance to actually test drive my updated list on ladder, it's been going well. I'm not convinced that Doggie Biscuit is actually necessary here... I used to like Ramming Mount, but also Mystery Winner for flexibility is good too...
Defias Blastfisher is easily MVP right now, though. If the opponent ignores any of the 1/1s, (or can't clear the 5/5s) this guy just comes in and cleans up. Feels great.
How is your experience so far?
I am facing mostly quest mages, and feel the deck is terrible against them.
When facing a minion based deck though the deck seems quite decent. I run Monstrous Parrot in combination with Rodent Nest on curve, or to copy The Rat King himself. I still feel like the deck is missing some fuel though, most of the time you just end up with a full board of tiny 1/1's
I have played wild exclusively for the past four years. These days however, I do see the attractiveness of standard a lot more. This has translated into me frequently playing more standard than wild.
The most important reason is the power level of wild, which is through the roof . Even worse, new cards are barely even played and we have seen the same decks for years. Some exceptions are in place of course. Take The Demon Seed for example(although the deck isn't much different from Darkglare warlock). The same could be said for Raid the Docks and pirate warrior, or Alliance Bannerman which has blown new life into handbuff paladin.
Wild has some golden moments however to which standard can never compare to. It is just that these days, moments like that happen more sparsely while the meta decks seem unavoidable.
I use Firestsone as well. I changed to this because firestone allows you to see how many packs of each expansion you have opened. Other than that, it functions just as well as any other tracker.
Great points! The collection manager was fine when the game first released, but just grew out of place as time went one. With almost 5000 cards I just search trough specific expansions most of the time. So many useless cards clutter up the pages as well.
"While we don’t currently have plans to build synergies around Quilboar in other game modes, we are adding the Quilboar tag to several should-be Quilboar minions to maintain consistency across game modes."
There is no real motivation to do more than daily quests to me. Sure, if I play a couple of hours I might get 50 gold with which I can buy a pack that probably has nothing in it but I will never try to grind for this. Additionally, the game gets a bit stale after an expansion when you only get one pack per week.
This has probably been done in the past, but I was wondering how much money other people spend on this game. Personally, I have spent about 200$ in total. Most of this has been in the past year, but I have been playing since TGT. Honestly, I regret most of the money I spent. It feels like a waste compared to other games. I remember thinking battlefield 5 was a big rip off when it launched, but when I compare it to the 50 packs I could have bought instead it doesn't seem so bad after all
Even though I played standard mode, I didn't play heroic mode of Galakrond's Awakening. Is the prize, golden versions of the cards or giving sth different? Is it worth playing heroic?
Completing heroic mode gives you two card backs for the EVIL and LOE storyline respectively. Nothing else.

For some reason I feel like I've seen this exact post before

Wow... that's insane. How much time do play each day?

Just wanted to say that Scabbs Cutterbutter seems to be in the wrong expansion. No hate, the list is really helpful after all

This is an amazing idea. Maybe they could even make some custom metas which we haven't seen before like in arena. For example, GvG with Boomsday.

No, only when the expansion launches do the arena sets rotate. So you still have about 4 hours to set up a run with two losses.
