posted a message on Why are Mage secrets 3 mana?

To be honest the majority effects are worth 3 mana by hearthstone math.  Most effects that destroy a card are worth about three and they can be disruptive in their own right, as well as prevent some things from happening.  Its not uncommon to have cases where the only spell left in your hand is a board clear and they drop a secret on you making it very hard to respond.  Some have floped spectacularly but in most cases gaining a mage secret is rarely bad, regardless of who,

You could try Baron Gedden in its place.  I've used it in warrior decks in place of Deathwing to moderate fit the spot before.  If not kiwit defenders another option as its a decent minion in almost all situations, which is what makes Deathwing so strong.  You could also try Gromhosh or the original Deathwing, but he's more of an all else fails card.  Shield slam is also not a teriable card to add in his place if dust ins an issue.

posted a message on Much needed nerf

I think the issue here is that it takes a minion down three levels, which for most minions that make the board it turns them as one/ones or similar.  It also however combines a transformation which removes buffs and deathrattles, for one mana.  Comparatively transformation and silence effects are in the 3 or four mana range, with devolve being two and murloc transformation being 3.  Truth be told its a harsh card against buff decks and decks that run few minions, but not to the degree we have seen with two mana iron beaks.

posted a message on [Scholo Legend] Highkeeper Ra OTK-Mage (refined for high-rank ladder)

There's two real options on how to deal with drawing potion of illusion beyond having the weapon in play when you would draw the card.   The first is Lorekeeper Polkelt and the other is Educated Elekk.  The lorekeeper has negative synergy in this variant, so you would need to wait until you had a cultist in your hand.  The elekk is self explanatory, cast it than have it killed, its the only standard card that puts spells in your deck right now.

posted a message on Which Free Class Legendary Did You Get?

Jadaice Bolvar, a sleeper mage legendary in the right deck i think.  I did get Turalyon as my first legendary from packs though.

Pen flinger is my pick,  Warlock zoo has several cheep spells to cycle it, so does demon hunter.  Most Face deck list run a few spells and it would allow you to constantly sneak in that extra one damage for a lot of turns,  Plus epic knife juggler synergy.

Also if someone could hook me up with that cool thing you do to get the cards to show up when you hover that would be sweet.

posted a message on How To Rip Dimensions 101

I love playing deck styles like these.  With that in mind I would use a single copy of dimensional rift, as its a very hard turn if you get nothing that can act that turn, such as the drakes, and maybe even sub the drakes out for the new 6 cost 5/7 taunt.  With this style, your opponent will almost always be shotcalling, and will often be able to have time to find all the answers he has in his deck.  Gearing this better against face decks will be more successful as very few decks will win against the raw value present.

In my experience trying to hit cards in your deck at turns 8-12 you don't need as many targets as you might think.  If you have no bad targets, which you don't in this deck, you only need 5 targets to hit for one or two plays.  Most decks can only afford to respond two or three of such large pressure turns.  Its also very hard to be able to effectively play such turns from your end either, while remembering that there are several clean board clears available to players right now.  With 5 cards looking to hit in the deck currently 7 should be enough remembering that Kargath could serve as several of those.

Other than that love it and the title.

You not even making an argument, just saying it needs a nerf.  Your main point is "We tolerated it when only warlock played demons".  An actual argument would be something more like this:

A zero mana hard removal even a conditional one is to strong.  It is an unfair card to play against when the entire class is built around the minion type.  Most conditional removal is 2-3 mana, the 5 point heal is a bout one, making this card extremely under costed.  It makes games feel unwinnable if its drawn.  So this card should cost 3-4, and zero if targeting a friendly minion.

See that's an actual argument with some substance that makes a point in a reasonable way.  I mean its a steaming mound of crap, but at lest its got substance.  One class has one card that's innately powerful against, where you have one class that's innately powerful against nine.
