Started using this deck today and made it from 20 to 16 (one game from 15 (and 2 health from that win)). Hit a brick wall then, but might have been due to tilt.

posted a message on [BUG?]Legendary in first 10 packs of each sets.

I ended up getting a legendary within a few Classic packs after the rule changed, so it seemed possible that all my packs were set to give a legendary in the first 10. I have been wanting to see if it would also work for me in Un'goro (I previously opened 40+ Un'Goro packs), but I was also afraid of it not working. Finally decided to give it a try today and got a Legendary after 2 packs. I think I opened 2 packs just after the change due to free arena runs, and before that I stopped after getting a legendary, so my pity timer was almost completely reset. I should have been 4 packs into new pity timer, so seemed to work.

Figured I would mention this in case anyone was still interested in trying but uncertain if it could still work. From the sound of it, though, it is not a guarantee. Could have just been lucky, will never know.

Someone recommended Druid of the Claw as an alternative for Living Mana, not really a replacement but can be proactive with charge. I tried a few games with it and it saved me once, but just swapped it out for Doppelgangster. Seems like basically a worse version of Living Mana but having the 3 minions will hopefully work better with the buffs in this deck.

Is swapping Mark of Y'Shaarj for Mark of the Wild a bad idea since losing card draw? I was originally saving dust for another deck but am so close to having this complete that I may just craft two of those along with a Living Mana.

Worked on 3rd try, thanks! Only have one Upgrade!, but just buffed Arcanite Reaper once plus Nightblade after clearing board and having Sindragosa at 21.

Thanks, I think it has hurt me more than anything. My original thought was it could combo well with the one brawl I have (bait out minions), but it just doesn't work out often enough.

With the recent change for a legendary in the first 10 packs I opened WOG packs for the first time and got Twin Emperor Vek'lor and mostly have this deck complete. Any thoughts on updates to this deck with KFT? I opend 2x Bring It On! today, wondering if that is viable in a deck like this.

My understanding is you only get the remaining cards in their deck. Just unlocked it and have not used it, though, so not 100% sure. If that is the case it won't be duplicated multiple times.

These are 2 of the few legendary cards I have, have not used Hemet yet but was thinking the same thing. Will try this soon.

Not sure if you posted this before or after the revisions, seems like they address aggro.

Schuler, just wondering if you could comment about your recent changes?

After a couple games it seems like tar creeper is better than bilefin to stall an aggro deck. I don't have oracle so am using acolyte of pain instead, not sure if there is a better option. Also using moroes instead of patches. I save him for after quest and after their board clear if I expect one to refill quickly.

So far up to rank 14 on a win streak! Still missing 5 cards but getting close.

My current thoughts: completing the quest with 2 wisps and 2 shadowsteps saves a ton of mana. This seems like an ideal case, but even just completing the quest with ferryman and brewmaster using wisp saves you 4 mana assuming your target would otherwise cost 1 mana. Can also get ferryman or brewmaster on the board turn 2 without using coin. If you draw wisp late, then it is a free 5/5 on the board.

This may be completely useless since I am only rank 15 (only on my 2nd month playing the game), but here it goes: I am still missing 8 cards from this deck (7 duplicates and Patches the Pirate), but honestly can't remember the last time a mage beat me with this deck (actually just hit 15 today for the first time by beating a freeze mage). I usually try to only fill half the board and keep close to a full hand once the quest is complete to minimize impact of flame strikes and to be ready to refill the board. Also, if the board is full and they freeze the board, that hurts if you can't play a charge. I try to keep 2 slots open for a charge plus return to hand to play charge again if needed. If not, save charge for same situation later since it may be your only source of damage while they keep freezing the board.

Since I am missing Patches the Pirate, I use Swashburglar and using it for the quest (typically only against mage) has given me some pretty useful mage cards. I always see freeze mage at my level (opposed to any faster mage if there is one) so completing the quest with charge or freeze doesn't seem to really help since the game will likely go long anyways (and the charge can be much more useful after quest and freezing begins). Fire Fly also seems fine, I guess I try to use that or Swashburglar to complete the quest against mage.

Still missing some cards so am using Ancient Brewmaster for the battlecry. The issue is that I think it is just too expensive. Do you think this is okay, or do you think it would be better to just replace it with a draw card? My options that are cheaper than 4 mana are Runic Egg and Acolyte of Pain. Could also use Gnomish Inventor, but Ancient Brewmaster seems better since it at least directly contributes to quest.

Also, I need 1x Gadgetzan Ferryman and 2x Mimic Pod. I don't plan to buy any MSG packs right now just for Gadgetzan Ferryman  (or patches) so focusing on Un'Goro. I almost have enough dust to craft one, so which do you think is better? I figured that I won't be lucky enough to open 2x Mimic Pod in the short term so crafting one seems like a safe risk.

Start playing less than 2 months ago and got a golden caverns below as my first every legendary in a pack! I will soon have enough dust to finish this deck minus patches. I could probably dust some things and finish it now, but don't want to dust anything that I'll regret later.
