I play Renounce Darkness Warlock on ladder for my YouTube videos. I had one match against what I thought was a Secret Mage. Now, this Renounce Darkness had it all, a Deathstalker Rexxar on 5,  Abombinable Bowman buffed by Hidden Cache on 6, Giant Sand Worm on 7, building up beasts on 8 and 9 to play Emeriss a turn late on 10. I followed that up with a Vicious Fledgeling/Young Dragonhawk Zombeast and a 6/8 Lightfused Stegodon (from Jeweled Macaw/Stranglethorn Tiger Zombeast)

Mage's response? I got Exodia'd out of nowhere thanks to his Emperor Thaurissan. WITHOUT THE DAMN QUEST.

Playing a Mech Hunter in Wild against a pretty Standard-looking Mech Warrior. (I did not see any bombs on his end, though.)

Cybertech Chip: "Here, have a Clockwork Goblin!"

*a couple of turns pass after I play it*

    Warrior: *uses Shield Block*

Topdeckaloosa, Lord of Topdecks (and my imaginary friend): "I think not."

Warrior: *draws a single Bomb out of 19 cards*

    All my Mechs: "Countered!"

Piloted Shredder: "Wanna see something even better? There's a certain flaming bird inside me."

    *a few more turns pass*

10/10 Pyros: "I will be your deathblow!"

Warrior: "I give up. SELF DESTRUCT!"

    Quote from NightCrawl3r >>

Just bomb warrior in wild seems bad.  I can see it being a package add on for other archetypes though.  Maybe Dead man's hand or a slower pirate warrior?

Forgot about this until you said something: he had Dead Man's Hand.

At Rank 10, I queued up with my fun Tesspionage deck. (I like to see that and Renouncelock defeat Big Priests with sheer luck; it doesn't happen often.) Garrosh appears, and I'm thinking "Hmm, Pirates?" Then I see Wrenchcalibur played, and I'm thinking "Did you queue into Wild by mistake?" It seems that the Wild counterpart of Bomb Warrior runs Coldlight Oracle to force out bombs, and I didn't see Blastmaster Boom, though it may still be ran. Anyone got info on this?

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I nearly won. I would have won if I had played Blink Fox before a Molten Blade turned Fiery War Axe, as the Blink Fox gave me Arcanite Reaper, which would have done enough when Fiery War Axe didn't.

I see your signature also says "Fuck Priest." I hate the typical Big Priest in Wild myself. Then again, that's where I play Renouncelock out of generosity and for the laughs.

I know most of you hate Bomb Warrior here, and will think that I deserve this sort of luck, but here goes.

Opponent was Hand Mage. First of all, the mage drew 2 Bombs on Turn 5, and even though I never drew Blastmaster Boom, that's still BS. The next thing is something that has happened to me the past 3-4 times I've used Brawl, and that is it leaving my opponent's biggest minion alive. This mage also got Power of Creation through Firetree Witchdoctor and summoned two Sunwalkers, or whatever the 6 mana 4/5 with Divine Shield is actually called. Again, this could have been worse, but his other copy of Firetree Witchdoctor got him a Polymorph, which he used on an Eternium Reaver magnetized to a Wargear. I lost that match, and I'm glad I forgot to record it. (I usually record all my matches.)

I was in a Bomb Warrior mirror match at Rank 16, (Standard, of course) and I run a copy of Weaponized Pinata for fun. In this mirror match, I ended up with Emeriss, which is obviously insane in its own right, but Omega Assembly also gave me Mecha'Thun. Needless to say I won.

posted a message on So which decks counters bomb warrior?

The "Little Spell" Mage deck (Cosmic Anomaly, Spellzerker, Shooting Star, Sorcerer's Apprentice, Vex Crow etc.) seems to win easily against Bomb Warrior. I play both that and Bomb Warrior in Standard, and every time I've seen this matchup so far, the Little Spell Mage wins. I'm sure it's possible for the Bomb Warrior to win, but I haven't seen it yet. Then again, I am only Rank 16-17 in Standard. (I've been Rank 7 in Wild this month, and I'm  currently at Rank 10 there.)

I just hit Rank 10 (in Wild) for the first time in 3 years, and it's only my second time ever. I've been playing a Secret Paladin deck in the midrange style of 2015-2016, and I will be updating my list tomorrow.

This should probably seem pretty obvious, but the attacks can trigger secrets. I play Mysterious Challenger in Paladin for nostalgia in Wild, and I've seen my minions being left alive, often by Autodefense Matrix, and if one dies, but another lives, it will trigger an active Avenge. In a couple of cases, this card has left my Priest opponents even more behind on board control on account of the extra Divine Shield and Avenge buff. All in all, be aware of secrets when playing this, and that also probably goes for the other secret classes as well.

While recording a YouTube video of me playing Renounce Darkness Warlock, I rolled Priest, played Confessor Paletress, used my hero power, and out came Malygos. The mage I was up against let Paletress live, and I hero power again next turn into Prophet Velen. That's one way to scare somebody, even if you don't have any damage spells in hand. The mage died to the minion damage the following turn.

posted a message on Arena Highlights: share your stories

Drafted a priest deck with 3 Spirit Lashes, 2 Amani War Bears, a Holy Nova, and a Free from Amber At 0-0, I beat a druid after my Free from Amber resulted in a Malygos that said druid was unable to deal with and played a bunch of the Feral Gibberers he had been generating since turn one, a 3-drop I can't remember, and buffed it all with Power of the Wild. I already had a Spirit Lash in hand to use in this sort of situation, but I topdecked Holy Nova for extra oomph in the face, bringing the druid down to 11, after which they proceeded to concede.

I haven't played any more matches with that draft yet, but I think it's looking pretty decent.

Update: Currently at 2-2. I ran into a paladin with Prince Liam and a Witch's Cauldron highroll at 1-0, followed by a very aggressively curving warrior, and I nearly conceded against a hunter at 1-2, but somehow turned that one into a win.

I got 500 Ranked wins with Mage, acquiring my first golden basic hero after winning 5 matches in a row with a Casino Mage deck that I built myself. (I do not have Yogg, however; I wish I hadn't dusted him after that nerf so long ago.) Also, the upcoming nerf to Hunter's spellstone is making me happy, but not in the same ways as most. You see, I have made an Even Hunter deck for fun, and the spellstone will make it even more fun for me.

I finally cleared Dungeon Run with Priest!

Priest was my last class, and I had a Scepter of Summoning and the battlecry totem in a nearly full-on C'thun deck, but with only one C'Thun. Final boss was Azari, and I was thinking "Heck no!" until C'thun came in my opening hand and I drew Wish early on, which saved me in the end.

As you can see, I defeated 124 bosses before clearing it with Priest, and I'll be revisiting the other classes for fun.

I was playing my RNG Mage once again at Wild Rank 20 against a Quest APM Priest. I had played a randomly generated Ice Block some time ago,  and after he went down to 13 health, up to 40 health, and back down to 5 with me having lethal next turn, he goes all in with the combo, executed it almost perfectly, and would have killed me had it not been for my Ice Block. He emoted "The Light shall burn you!" when he popped the block, and I killed him after his rope ran out. That was ranked win number 483 with Mage for me, meaning my first 500th ranked class win is not too far off.
