Could be alright, feels really slow though. the first 3 seals are garbage though 15 mana for a 2/2, 3/3 and 4/4 is really bad. Will need a specific deck built around it and even then Death Knight Warlock will probably be better.
Card draw is always extremely powerful so it could be good, it feels like a card that might be tough to get to work consistently with the danger of milling yourself and fatiguing yourself against slow decks.
I don't think I've ever had a more satisfying feeling than beating a Jade Druid by having them play Ultimate Infestation right into a Mana Bind and Counterspell secret chain. Countering Druid's BS hand reload and getting it for free myself is all kinds of fun.
We've finally hit the tipping point that happens after every expansion, everyone's had their fun playing with the cool new slower cards for a few weeks and brainless face-bashing bullshit has flooded the ladder again.
Isn't that the case with every expansion though? Most expansions have about 1 in 5 cards that are actually good and see consistent play and another 1 out of the 5 that are alright and see some marginal play and the other 3 out of the 5 are too situational, don't have enough support from existing cards or are plain bad.
I suspect that will always be the case, it's just too hard to design every card (Or even most of them) to be really good at the time of release, some become better later when more support is released in further expansions but many remain terrible, that's just how it is.
This will be better than The Lich King most of the time. Comes out way earlier and since TLK will almost never last more than 1 turn you get the same yield card-wise. Plus it has support from countless deathrattle synergy cards.
Only realistically relevant against Evolve Shaman, Jade Druid and Combo Rogue which might be enough to see it being played if those decks are still popular.
It's one of those weird ones that will only see play when certain decks are popular but paradoxically will single-handedly cause those decks to become unpopular.
As someone who has played a whole lot of Mage I don't think this will actually be that great. 8 is alot to pay for no body and by the time you can play this you may have drawn into half your secrets anyway.
Thats not to memtion that to get decent value from it you need to run heaps of secrets many of which you may not want clogging up your deck. Ice Block and Ice Barrier dont typically go in to same decks as Mirror Entity and Counterspell and none of the others really see play at all, while they're occasionally okay from a glyph you don't want to actually draw into a Vaporize or Potion of Polymorph. We'll need a pretty damn good secret to be revealed for this to be worth it.
The effect is amazing but it feels very risky as it could be silenced/hexed/polyed. Also 3/7 is terrible for a 9-drop.
You're giving up 4-5 manas worth of stats for an effect that may not even go off. Very questionable if it's worth the risk, could easily cost you the game.
The problem with these 'if you have no other X-mana cards' effects is that there are very few effects worth giving up a whole mana slot for unless it's a 8-9-10 drop because you'd likely only have 1 card in that slot anyway.
Also u could rotate in 1 meteor instead of the second polymorf
Yeah I considered Water Elemental, I'm just not sure if it's better than Stoneshaper or Steam Surger in the 4-Mana slot.
As for Polymorph I mainly put in 2 because there seem to be a hell of a lot of scary game-enders coming in but if the meta doesn't require both I'd definitely consider swapping one out.

Played it a reasonable amount of times so far, only lost 2 game were I played it and one of those was against a Priest where it went to fatigue.

Think I've gotten 3 ever. I remember getting a gold Malganis and a gold Fizzlebang, think the other one was Alex.

I like the idea but I really dont see why it couldnt be a 2/3 or even a 2/2. Only having 1 attack makes it have virtually zero board impact on curve.

Works well with Sindragosa's tokens and Elemental Mage is already an okayish tempo deck. This gives it a good late-game power play.
