"OOPS: An error, to be sure."

    Shouldn't it be "for sure"?

What the hell does "An error, to be sure" even means?

It makes sense, learn English before actually complaining about them please.
Except I know english pretty well and "for sure" makes a lot more sense. Go be a smartass somewhere else.
Can't exactly help it, when I see posts like yours.
"For sure" would be more american. "To be sure" would be more english. Both make sense.

Lot's of people reporting this isn't wrking for them. It's a lot of work for someone who never played WoW, so should I do it now or wait a few days?

posted a message on New Card - Eater of Secrets

After a slight decline in seceret paladins which this will cause, this card will become unplayable, and maybe the deck reurns, atleast in wild. I'm not sad to see ice block quasi-nerfed. 3 mana take another free turn is broken. Sad to see the other secrets will be reduced too though. Secret mage was a seriously fun deck, though not really ladder viable.

I agree with the sentiment of the OP.

If these early reveals were supposed to pique my interest they have failed. I don't care if the cards look bad, but I want to see new mechanics and interesting ideas.

C'thun is a neutral anyfin can happen, and I can't tell you how much I hate that idea!! Turn 10 I win cards, when you've had to do nothing but hope you draw the right cards in the right order and slap them down do not make the game more appealing. They suck ass! What's the problem blizzard? You worried traditional combo decks are too complicated for the plebs to play?

I guess the new hogger is kind of cool, even if it is just an imp gang boss on steroids.

I expect much better. Some creativity please.

Where is the creativity? These new cards are all rehashes. Can we have some mechanically interesting cards please. Then atleast it doesn't matter so much if the cards are 'good' cause atleast they are fun and different.

Edit: No, anyfin for all is not interesting. turn 10 I win cards, actually suck ass as anyfin proved.

Wild pyro, unleash the hounds, swipe... unless we see some serious synergy this card gets punished too hard.

posted a message on General consensus on formats

I don't understand why they've set the standard format in stone. They should be rotating out and rotating IN every six months or so, so we get fresh combinations. It makes no sense from blizzard point of view either as that would sell more packs.

    Quote from Marcus20060 >>

Yes, I went 8-3 with the deck. Lost to hunters with too much burst. I said it was strange bcs I thought rogue gameplan is go for tempo and kill them before they had the board, kind of assassin-ish. But after the first 10 picks, I ended with about 5 big body, which forced me to follow the controlish style.

With average choices usually going tempo with rogue is the right thing to do. But that's is the beauty of arena, you adapt your plans as you go through the draft. If you're doing that you are already a step above beginner :)

posted a message on Gender Representation in Heathstone.

The problem with topics like this (relating mainly to social media) is that 'white knights' in my experience are split. A third do it out of the kindness of their hearts, another third do it just to compete with like minded others, falling over each other to prove their egalitarian e-peens.  Finally there are those that do it for their dick, sometimes admittedly on a subconscious level. Guess they never heard the nice guys finish last cliche.

If you really think more females in the card art would get more women playing hearthstone, I honestly think you are mistaken. The majority of women will always see games like this as a waste of time (they're right ;p). Those that don't should be welcomed but they will always be a minority, nothing the developers did would make much difference, with regard to card art or whatever, so you can hardly blame the devs for safely targetting their reliable demographic.

I consider a single "Well played" after the match a sign of politeness and sportmanship. Completely different is spamming "Well played" repeatedly for 20 seconds before killing the opponent, that would be bad manners, of course. It's not clear to which one the OP refers.

Seems to me it's the single variety and he's another one of these delusional paranoid types who hears every single emote as BM.

somebody probably already said this but plants do have gender.

Your statement is wrong as it implies that all plants have a specific gender. Some plants have a specific. Some have both genders in the same plant. And some reproduce completely asexually.
This post is the highlight of this thread. /sigh

posted a message on Gender Representation in Heathstone.

I don't really care how balanced or representative or however you want to put it, Hearthstone is. But I do like it as it is.

It appeals to my hetro-white male perspective. Females are under-represented and those that are there are often displaying cleavage. There are no gay or transgender references as far as I'm aware (other than the slightly camp feel high fantasy can never get away from, ever since LOTR) and I like it this way.

If it was any other way I might not be playing or spending money on the product. That's as far it goes, you vote with your wallet and time.

There you go an, honest self-aware opinion. Thankfully Blizzard and most other game developers know their target demographic.

posted a message on The death of Mill decks?

I find it hard to care - of all the deck types out there, mill decks are the most immersion breaking. Yes I realise it's a card game, but would you interested in Hearthstone without the characters, the art, the themes?

Nothing screams "you're playing a stupid card game!" louder than a match against a mill deck, as it's right in your face.
