No. Team 5 just takes a ridiculous amount of time to realize they've made a mistake, especially when it comes to Wild mode.

I suggest you stop jumping to the conclusion that when something "bad" happens, there must be some dark scheme for world domination we don't know about. It's likely to become an extremely unhealthy habit, as shown by some people.

Flavor text: "Not everyone knows this little fella is how Blackhand REALLY got his name."

For clarification: The card would be discounted with "overkill" damage as well. For example:Casting Flamestrike on 3 1/1 minions will discount Bardolph by 12, not by 3. Damage dealt to friendly minions counts as well, as long as it's dealt by a spell.

I initially intended this card to be a spell called "Kleptomania", then I remembered Dragon's Fury is a thing. So I obviously had to make some changes. We don't want it to cost 0 on turn 5 if it's still in your deck, do we?

Clearly, Dragon's Fury is still pretty OP when combined with Bardolph. I didn't like any of the changes I came up with, as they made our gnome friend completely useless if not paired with Dragon's Fury . So I'm just gonna act like it doesn't exist because I liked the idea of actually having a win condition which isn't just killing your opponent. Bear with me.

Nowadays, almost every slow deck has some sort of explosive late game finisher. Control Mage doesn't really have that luxury. This is where Bardolph the Kleptomaniac comes in! Finish your opponents... with THEIR finishers! Or not. Maybe they don't have their key cards in hand. Maybe they don't even have a game-finishing combo in their game plan.

I didn't want the card to just instantly win you the game, rather have the potential to in most (but not all) cases.

Flavor Text: "Also known as Loa of Wallets"

Just for clarification, the effect makes it so that you are guaranteed to always draw cards with a Cost equal to your current maximum Mana Crystals, spending some of your mana before drawing will not change the cards you'll draw. In other words, you'll always topdeck a minion to play on a perfect mana curve. If there are no cards matching your maximum mana in your deck, you'll draw a random card as you usually would.

The card is obviously not meant to be competitive, but it'd probably help meme decks made of 30 (Or 35, if you're playing Prince Malchezaar ) Legendaries to be just a little bit better. Not even close to competitive, of course.

Still it has its own disadvantages too: You could only use Legendary minions . Spells, Weapons and Hero Cards would not be allowed. Plus, Rezan itself is a 7 mana 5/5. That means that your "perfect" draws might slow down once you reach 7 mana, as you might draw an awful minion.

I didn't focus on balancing the card, I preferred to focus on making it fun (in my opinion, at least).

I don't wanna make another topic about it so Im putting it there. The new Blood Old God would be kinda cool too. Especially considering he is weaker than other ones so he might be balanced around 8 mana or so :D

G'huun? Yeah! That'd be really cool to see. I feel like he could be very similar to The Darkness. Y'know, starting dormant and having to break the three seals to awaken it. Maybe some cool effect instead of just a, honestly boring, giant 20/20 minion. And what about the Loas? There are so many! I'd love to see Rezan & friends!

I agree with all the cards you listed, except maybe Vilespine Slayer. But I'd rather see The Caverns Below reworked instead of just nerfing it again.

Most likely we'll see some in the future but in my humble opinion one of Blizzard's worst mistakes (As for "fluff" stuff such as characters interaction) was never adding an interaction between Medivh and Khadgar. You have no idea how much it triggers me. Like... is there anything more obvious than the connection between the two? And you have no interaction, not even one? That's REALLY sad.

But yeah, we're definitely gonna see more, not necessarily from BfA. And, uhm... Alleria Windrunner is already in the game, didn't you know that?

it wouldn't make sense though, the medivh featured in the card didn't know Khadgar during those times, he was too young to have encountered him, it would be decent between the heroes, since the medivh from the skin already has the staff, and probably would have already encountered khadgar

I talking about the Medivh skin and not Medivh, the Guardian.

Oh, you meant you want to see her as a card? Sure. Sorry, I thought you didn't know she was available as a hero. That could be a thing, but honestly it seems like lately Blizzard has given priority to their own original characters rather than ones from Warcraft. Which I think is totally fine! Hell, some of them are so good they got added into WoW instead! (Sir Finley Mrrgglton, Patches the Pirate, Skycap'n Kragg and... Ben Brode, sorry I had to make that joke)

We'll definitely see more lore characters but if things in the near future are going to be similar as the last two expansions, I think it's gonna be a slower process.

Sonya Shadowdancer isn't the problem. Stonetusk Boar and his charging friends are. As simple as that.

No.  Quest Rogue has evolved into an infinite value deck.  The boar is not even being run in some lists.  It certainly is NOT the problem.

The only lists with a decent winrate that don't run Stonetusk Boar have Southsea Deckhand. Value decks are not good. Value does not beat aggro and it gives more time to combo to just kill you, as Rogue has no way to deal with a combo deck except... oh who would've EVER guessed? Killing them. Please, don't be ridiculous. Stats speak for themselves. It's NOT an opinion. Please, share me the wonderful 20% winrate deck without any charge minions, because I can't find it anywhere. I'll gladly take back my words if sufficient data proves such a "Value Quest Rogue" isn't just a much worse version than the current "optimized" version. But as it stands right now, it seems you sir have LITERALLY no idea what you're talking about. Cheap charge is what makes Quest Rogue even remotely playable. Without it, you'd have no win condition. Flood the board with 4/4 minions will not be enough against the majority of decks that have a win condition of their own. Will it beat most control decks? Yeah. Probably. But Quest Rogue with charges already does that. You're talking nonsense.

posted a message on Zilliax has the best voice line in the game CHANGE MY MIND!

I simply adore Zerek, Master Cloner's voice. I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure it's the same voice actor as Medivh in Warcraft III, Michael Bell.

But the best voice line in Hearthstone will always be Anubisath Temple Guard's attack quote. "Please take me with you... They don't pay me!".

posted a message on omega Assembly

In a Mech Warrior based, the answer is pretty obvious. As for other Warrior decks, it's just extra value for just 1 mana and one card slot. While popular Decks like Odd Warrior destroys aggro decks, it has A LOT of problems against other slow decks, one of these is the lack of late-game value. Omega Assembly helps with that. Especially if you also run Dr. Boom, Mad Genius, basically transforming your Mechs into removals as well as pressure. It's just that extra value you might need. Is it always enough? Well, certainly not but it's definitely a good addition. It's not an auto-include, for example running Omega Assembly in say, Recruit Warrior, is questionable but it's definitely better than other most other cards available to Warrior in Standard format right now.

posted a message on Weekly Card Design Competition 8.08 - Submission Topic

The thought process I had is that, while the card seems quite powerful, you'd not only need to have it in your hand to begin with, but you'd also need to play a Spell Damage minion, followed by (most likely cheap) spells. That'd empty your hand pretty quickly, this card is a way to help refill it. However, if you draw this late in the match when you played your cards already to stay in the game or didn't build your deck to fulfill the requirement consistently enough, you'll be met with a worse Primordial Glyph . This is my first submission so I don't expect the card to be perfect but I personally liked the idea. Just to be clear, "empowered by Spell Damage " means your spell has to be cast while a card with a "Spell Damage X" effect is on the board and has to be affected by it. (For example, casting Primordial Glyph while having a Cosmic Anomaly on the board won't upgrade the Magical Orb spell but cards that deal damage like Arcane Missiles or cards that specify they'll be improved by Spell Damage like Unexpected Results will.)

posted a message on Pogo Rouge is a sleeper deck mark my word

aggro get tuned down in the future

It'll never happen, as simple as that.

But yes, I have to agree the deck is definitely not as bad as people think and it just needs more refinement and/or support.

Looking at stats right now. 51.4% for the most played version definitely isn't fitting a Tier 1 deck but definitely not unplayable.

Though... It is very matchup dependant. Only doing well against Paladin, Priest and Warrior. And it's a coin flip against Druid.

I highly doubt the deck will be dominant any time soon nor ever, to be completely honest. But yeeaaah, people will complain about everything. Just ignore those.
