why is no one considering the fact that this can be used to attack otherwise untargetable minions like stealth . This is a good check against a heavy spirit card meta.

Xel562 posted a message on New Card Reveal - Snapjaw ShellfighterPosted in: NewsYour example for the Gastropod is great but putting a taunt with less attack than Snapjaw Shellfighter is a very bad idea. You need to put something that you either really want to survive or something that has more attack (with taunt) so it deals more than 3 damage.

Ghostydogy posted a message on Ghostdog - Wild Legend - Control WarlockPosted in: Ghostdog - Wild Legend - Control WarlockHey PrototyperGer,
I'm sorry to hear that you have had a bad experience with this deck, if i may ask what rank did you play this deck at? against which decks? as every deck have it's good match up and bad match up.
You need Skull of the Man'ari against the aggro match up while Rin, the First Disciple is just there as a 3-6 body with taunt, However against the control match up Rin, the First Disciple secure the game by playing the seals then you pretty much win the game with Azari but you need not to play Skull of the Man'ari against the control match up.

StairsGaming posted a message on Final Boomsday Card Reveal Livestream - August 1st!Posted in: NewsIt's not so much a matter of contract, but a matter of familiarity and proximity. Day9 has been working on presenting media stuff for them for years and has working social relationships with most of the people there. Day9 is a really, really low risk candidate who they know can work an audience, and who as a bonus has experience with Hearthstone.
Hearthstone Pros would look at the cards differently than Day9 would. I'm sure firebat doesn't care about timmy cards like Tyrantus, but Day9 geeked out over that. He has the capacity to sit back from his perspective as well, and rate a card by its use to professionals, himself, and to newer players. And, again, combine all that with familiarity with the team and expertise in presenting content, and he becomes a flavorful pick quite easily.
That, and, you need a happy person to do the reveals. You can't have someone like Kripp or Kolento doing the reveal. -

Sounder posted a message on Best Recruit HunterPosted in: Best Recruit HunterKathrena is the build-around of this deck. You need KK as a recruitable beast finisher. If you don't include them, you're playing something else that needs to be built differently.
You pull off your recruits around turn 7, so the recruits must either be finishers (3 heavy-hitting Chargers), or big taunts (3/12 grizzlies are awesome).

Since this looks like a budget deck: Which card can I replace if my collection is a little bit broader? Maybe Kel Thuzad for Hex?

"Waste your opponent's time because time is your best friend" sounds like you should rope your Opponent until he concede...

Compare Gruul and Shifting Scroll - "Each turn" includes your opponent's; "each turn in your Hand" includes only your own turn. I admit, this is not very clear...

Reprinting cards continues. A cheaper chromaggus, who saw no play because he was too slow. Archmage maybe is not too slow. However, with at least 2 cards to play for 4 mana, a board presence with only 2/2 is kinda bad. Meanwhile your opponent plays CTA.

How does this interact with the scrolls produced by Deck of Wonders? Since the scrolls will be activated on draw, they should not be discarded, right?
