From my experience (on Europe, I have no experience playing on NA or Asia), Wild from ranks 20-10 is slightly more difficult than Standard but not by much. As these tend to be people with larger collections and have played the game longer.
From ranks 9-1 it's about the same difficulty on both formats.
In Legend, Standard is much more difficult, Wild just becomes a complete meme fest. Your Legend rank in Standard is a measure of how well you've done that season, in Wild...it's just a meaningless arbitrary number!
Overall the difference between formats outside of Legend is very minimal. If you're finding Wild to be easier, you're having a lucky month.
Yeah you are probably right, my wr dropped in recent games to my normal, and I stopped meeting bad players I was probably incredibly lucky. But i dont agree, that wild legend is just meme fest. Im facing the same 6 decks all the time and if you multiply you legend rank by 10 you get the difficulty of standard ladder (rank 200 in wild is rougly same as rank 2000 in standard)
You can't win any single game in wild if u don't play fast aggro deck (aggro paladin). Because 90% players use mother fucking mill kingbane deck and mill druid deck right now. I'm stucking in rank 7 and i think i'll give up until i have enough dust to craft a dude pally deck.
thats interesting I didnt meet any mill druid in 200 games and something like 2 mill rogues
So I just wanted to prepare and test some decks for the upcoming wild event and I wasnt even trying to hit any specific rank, but I just hit legend with 72 overall winrate (although from rank 22, but my winrate didnt drop much on the top ranks). I didnt netdeck, so my decks werent even optimized and I was doing mistakes quite often, didnt mulligan correctly. When im playing well on standard Im able to reach something like 57-65 wr and that is, when I know the meta and im focused playing T1-T2 deck. I was facing bad players very often, but the biggest shock came when I met rank 35 player who played like total moron, he even managed to forget to attack with minion at the end of turn.
So my question is, do you have the same experience? And why is there sooo big difference between standard and wild in terms of difficulty, when on wild are even more rng based decks like big priest and warlock with naga and giants
Its same thing for, but I think the main reasons are ladder system is pure grind and kobolds was one of the worst expansions and it didnt shift the meta much
2 legendaries, 5 epics, 3 golden commons and 1 golden rare, 9 duplicate rares and 60 duplicate commons in 45 packs doesnt have to do anything with card power level
Opened total shit, did 2 dungeon runs - got bored after that so i started playing ladder - got bored after 4 games, quit the game, this never happened to me I always enjoyed first few days of an expansion. Worst expansion for me so far (playing since naxx)
I have played and faced many lich kings since release, but i havent seen any frostmournes (even on streams), is it just coincidence or is he actually bugged?
