Well, Alexstrasza was made against heavy control decks/ heavy armor decks. it helps to decrease their lives or even increase ur life if u're against Aggro/mid range decks and didn't bought many armor cards.

Hadronox was somethin that came to my mind when I saw many taunt minions in this deck to stall the game and two naturalizes too. So as Taunt druid I can keep one Naturalize to use on hadronox and keep Stalling the game until forest guide in the end. Even weak taunt minions like those from Spreading Plague helps u to stall the game and annoy ur opponent. It's not a 100% guarantee of victory but it's a lot help anyway.
The owner of this deck said something about trade "Mind Tec Control" and "Ancient War" so i did and it worked really well. 
Kind of a lucky guess that worked. xD

You contradict yourself, if the aggro decks beat your control, then your aggro should also beat control.

Haha, it was all luck tbh! Memorit recommended going hard on the Forest Guides and Naturalize which helped, but Benedictus being in the bottom 10 cards was the real killer for them.

Love the deck! I played some games with Memorit's version before this and the addition of Alex and Hadronox really helped. Even managed to beat a Quest Priest, check it out;

400 dust. Even cards like Tinkmaster Overspark see more play than her.

Aya Blackpaw.  This was around the time of frozen throne.  As a control player (warlock and priest) I just was sick of Jade druid.  Finally gave up in frustration, crafted that and UI for the deck, played like 4 jade games, hated the deck and never played her again.

I play wild so perhaps one day she'll be back. Still, the fact that I spent 2000 dust on the deck that I both hate playing and playing against just makes me sour.

It always sounds a lot better than it actually is. Remember how much people said the meta would change if we could just nerf quest rogue in ungoro? Well, rogue was nerfed, essentially "removing" the class cause hardly anyone played miracle or tempo rogue at the time, and the meta barely changed at all.

when is Leeroy ever played on curve? its a finisher, unless you have the opponent really low by t5 its never played on curve afaik

I have been playing this deck a lot lately and I don't think this deck will work without the Drake's or LichKing.  Drake's are key to surviving aggro and LK is the way you will win control matchups.  Without those cards I think you will get run over in aggro and have no real way to finish in a control match up.

As for a list, I swapped out a cube for a mossy horror and have had a good amount of success with it.  He is a target for Oakheart and he can be a game saving board clear against Pally or Zoo.
