That sucks man. One time I had a game where my double Fireball to face would finish the game but the hero was unclickable. I ended up ending my turn hoping on the next turn I could do it, but nope. I also couldn't attack the enemy hero with my minions but he slowly beat me down over like 6 more turns. That was my most fun loss yet.

Anyone know if the tournament at Blizzcon will count as an esport event that will unlock the Power Core card back?

Do I have to spell it out:

    Frothing atk pwr cap

    Patron spawn cap

    Challenger secret cap

Perhaps even a player damage turn cap? Maybe not. But some edits will require a bit more thought.

1.- Frothing's dmg is capped at how many minions are on the battlefield.

2.- Patron's spawn is capped, as you can't have more than 7 minions in play.
3.- MC's secrets fetch is capped at how many different secrets you have in your deck AND in your hand
4.- Player damage..... are you nuts???

    This thread is BS.

Saltiness is strong with this one....

Technically MC's secret fetch is capped at 5. Depending on how many secrets you've already played and what's in your hand might make this number go down but even if you have all 6 secrets in your deck, you'll only pull 5.

    Quote from Uninformed1 jump

I have a legendary control warrior deck (net approved etc).  I find it so difficult to ramp up when I am combatting Face Hunter.  It is a very slow moving deck for the most part as you build up armor and demolish minions etc.

Can I get some advise on ranking in the meta?  Should I be using a different deck to get through the 20-15 bracket?  Why I can't break through 18 with this deck is beyond me.  Never had problems getting at least to 15 without struggle in past metas when I tried.

I've never really tried for legend rank but have casually made it to 4 before and from what I can tell, it's not like the meta completely changes at rank 15. It's almost like a smooth curve, the better your rank, the less likely you are to face whatever the current cancer aggro deck is.

Well how often do you manage to pull off the combo? Considering you need Emperor Thaurissan in order to play the other 4 cards, it's basically a 5 card combo over 2 turns. I picture this getting wrecked by mech mage, warrior (both kinds), paladin (most kinds) and mid range hunter. If I'm right then maybe teching in a Kezan Mystic in place of a Big Game Hunter would probably help immensely.

Same thing with Sideshow Spelleater as well, allowing for double inspires.

Does this work if you are facing the same class as you? Or does the hero power literally have to change?

    Starfall

Upgraded version of Starfall. Kinda worried it's little OP, but it's an hard removal which druid lacks and it's rare.

    Next up: Anub'ar Ambusher

You're kind of worried it's OP? Starfall is a fine card as is. Bake an extra 1 aoe damage into it or a wild growth and it might be OP? I would have never guessed.

I already submitted this card but I wanted some feedback :

I know it's not the strongest and you basically get a 3/3 Weapon for 3 Mana (if you use the Poison) but I liked the Idea. The Deadly Poison is just a really good way to enable your combos so you can get guaranteed turn 4 SI:7 Agent or a Turn 5 Oil.

You discard a card and then add Deadly Poison to your hand. So you basically are trading a card in your deck for a Deadly Poison. I suppose in some rare cases this actually is a benefit if you were to collect all 3 Deadly Poison  in your deck and then equip all at the same time for minor benefits. But the card you discard will too often be something you wanted more than Deadly Poison. Even if you empty your hand, the "free" Deadly Poison only makes this a 3 mana 3/3 like you said. I think that is the sign that it's too weak. I suggest you make it at least "add 2 deadly poisons to your hand". At least that way it is always some sort of benefit.

Hi guys and girls, any thoughts on my version of Kil'jaeden?

I wanted the deathrattle to be epic, like realising his fury upon death and calling a firestorm over the enemy

If you happen to draw this card early and can play it on 7 or 8, how much damage would you expect it to do? I'm thinking back to my handlock games and I think on turn 7 or 8 I probably have at least 6 cards. I just added up a standard hand lock deck and found the average card cost (assuming Molten Giant and Mountain Giant cost 6) to be 4.1, or just 4 since a few of the giants will probably cost less. So when this is played, at an average of 4 damage per card and discarding 6 or more cards, you're looking to do about 24 damage.

I can imagine a world where you play Twisting Nether on 8 to clear the board, and then play this on 9 to minimize enemy minions. I like the concept but I feel like, barring really fast losses against aggro, this will just end the game single handedly on turn 8. It's ALMOST like a combo card but it is the only piece that matters. You just stick a bunch of high cost cards in your deck, scramble to live to 7 or 8 and then bam! Somewhere between 15-40 damage. Probably really OP but this is the kind of card that would need lots of testing to be sure.

Man, I really hope none of the cards that make your opponent discard make it to the finals.

I agree. I'm usually on the fence about some of Blizzard's Hearthstone philosophy (especially about not buffing cards) but one that I think is exactly right is that discarding enemy cards is not fun at all.

posted a message on Who do you predict will be the Hearthstone World Champion?

Let's be honest - it's going to be a bit random. I know that getting into the finals is far from random, because you have to play so many games to do so. But once you're there, they don't play enough games to eliminate randomness (there wouldn't be time).

Having said that, I agree that Firebat is looking good atm.

Not sure if you've heard but Firebat is out. Trump knocked him out of the American Qualifiers last weekend.

Here is a link to the 8 who won. Only 4 of these will be going to Blizzcon.

posted a message on Can we have an 'Automatic End Turn' option?
    Quote from Slushsoup jump

Would it be not a part of Blizzard's vision, to have a simple feature that whenever you are out of options to play and the End Turn button turns green, that the Innkeeper says, "Job's done!" and your turn is over?

Games would be a lot more fluid in my opinion of waiting for some guy on slow internet connection/computer/iPad to end his turn when there is nothing left to play? Plus it feels annoying that I have to click End Turn when all my options are out.

This is just my opinion. I was wondering if others felt the same way, or if you disagree, why so?

    Thanks!

    EDIT:

I've read some responses, given this a lot of thought, and I've changed my opinion. I do understand what some of you are getting at, but I still disagree. Here's why:

I personally think that it would not be as big of a disadvantage as you've said and others have said. Most of the time when a player is all out of options and the End Turn button turns green, they hit it instantly. I can't think of a single instance where my End Turn button was green and I held up a couple of seconds before pressing it, because I wanted to make sure my opponent didn't think I was out of options.

Plus I've watched countless hours of pros playing, and I've never heard them mention this advantage/seen them do it themselves.

And I don't quite understand what some of you mean about 0 cost mana cards such as InnervateSoulfire, Circle of Healing, etc. If you have 0 mana left and you have a 0 cost card... The End Turn button doesn't turn green, it stays yellow, and the Automatic End Turn option would NOT automatically end your turn. It would only trigger when you litterally have nothing else to possibly do, except clicking that green End Turn button.

I also want to be completely clear that this Automatic End Turn option, only triggers if you are completely out of moves, so if you have 0 cost mana cards in your hand/you're a Rogue and have an option to use your weapon, it won't end your turn!

Green button=Automatically ends your turn. Yellow button=Does NOT automatically end your turn.

I hope I've gotten my point across acurately.

You want to see a pro player utilize his turn to the max every turn? Go look up some of Lifecoach's tournament play. I'd say he ropes 95% of his turns.
