Emphasis on play, as in, from your hand.
Now summoning is not the same as playing, so if you were able to summon this card (cheat it into play) without playing a card the turn you desire to achieve the effect, you could theoretically pull off some ridiculous combos and shenanigans.
For example, you play Duskfallen Aviana, then Carnivorous Cube on turn 10, you could set up a combo, and your opponent wouldn't be able to get value from Duskfallen Aviana (because they'd have to spend a card to kill the cube), and you'd still get your free card.
Not likely to see much play (except maaaaybe in Quest Druid), but still, an incredibly interesting card for all the memers and Johnny's out there.
Not gonna lie, I want it, if only for the fun factor.

As for Corridor Creeper, I hope that they tested it and 2/5 turned out to be adequate stats. And that they didn't solve the problem once again by making a card completely unplayable (but there is a slight suspicion that they did).
And one more bad 8 mana body for random summons by the way.

the bonemare nerf is great though.
(whenever they nerf cards it almost feels to me that they deliberately search for unique ways to nerf to show off that they are the professional designers and the community has no plan. i mean the community had a lot of great ideas for nerfs, but this seems like such bs. how about making patches 2 mana, increase the cost of corridor creeper by 1, make anduins hero power only refresh on spells or make razas effect disappear if you change your hero power... and how about making fiery war axe unable to attack heroes?)

I always liked Big Priest so immediately tried this one. Don't have Colossus of the Moon so replaced it with Ragnaros the Firelord
Played 3 games at the bottom of the ladder and those were easy wins. But I always had Eureka! and Ancestor's Call on curve. Will play more games and see how this can handle till 8-10 turn if hand is bad.

Very nice deck I really enjoyed it, al lower ranks it performs really good, but I stuck at P5.
It handles Shamans, Aggro Hunters, Murloc Pally and Rouge very well but it struggles with Quest Warlocks and Priests. Mages are in between.
Even if you play around it is still difficult, I almost always have Warlocks ~10hp or below and the they start to recover. I can handle threats but always lose to Maly combo after Alex beeing dropped. Priest are the worst, they always steal your Murgur Murgurgle and are lucky with other steals by Thoughtsteal, not mention to a lot of removal, aoe and heal as well.
The problem of this deck is handling of big threats, u need two cards to clear board and have only two more cards to neutalize enemies big boys. There is a lot of heal, but looks like Priest and Warlocks have always perfect answers to our threats.
