And those two cards are more meta depending. If you face a lot of classes with weapons, Harrison will be useful, and if you face miracles and freeze mages, you're better off with loatheb. You could even play them both if you face a mixed meta.
I don't understand. These are all situations that are not proper to mirror matches. Having a perfect hand or playing the ice block game are both things that happen, mirror match or not. Sure, there's rng involved, but you're going to need a lot more rng in your favor if you want to win against a deck that hard counters you.
Most mirror matches are decided by a single RNG coin flip during the match... so I usually don't like to play them. At least they happen very rarely, since I usually play priest on ranked (which got attention recently though).
That's like saying the decks only play themselves. I actually think that mirror matches are the ones that require the most skill since the choices of the players are what ends up making the difference when they use the same cards. That's why I like mirror matches with decks I know well rather than ones I'm new with. If you guys consider that mirror matches are coin flips, it might be that your understanding of those decks are simply average.
Well now that I think of it, maybe it is actually meant to be played with Ancestral Spirit in order to get an overload free one. Not a bad turn 7 at all.
Well have fun with your theories, the facts are here. I haven't paid anything, never played aggro in ladder last season and yet reached rank 2. To be honest, at 1000 wins, I don't see why you couldn't do the same. Out of curiosity, how many of these wins were in arena?
And how would you get cards? Would you really get all the cards right from the start?
Why not? you are paying $35 for the game. I think that is fair compensation for a game that can be played in flash on a web browser.
Just to put things in perspective here. Grand Theft Auto 5 was a MASSIVE undertaking that was developed by several studios working for Rockstar. They spent HUNDREDS of MILLIONS of dollars and YEARS creating the game and engine. They then went and hired top voice work talent and recorded thousands of lines of dialogue. After that they went and spent a ton of money on a massive soundtrack full of licensed songs. Finally, they created an online portion that is still supported well after launch with free patches and updated game modes.
For all of that they charged $60. Done, get it it all.
I am suggesting $35 for a game that could be played on a web browser using flash circa 2005. An electronic card game made by a very small team at Blizzard. Again, in addition, having a marketplace that will make them even more money on top of it selling customization.
mmh..yeah but that just feels like it would be the opposite of what a TCG is supposed to be..

Could you please tell us what deck you're playing so that we can actually help you?

Yeah sure! Two modes! Great idea!
Wait...
Why?

Yeah what about swapping the defenders and ancestral healings for mana tides and azure drakes?

Here it is. The dream! The Dream! I can smell it! Almost touch it! :3
Awesome streak with an awesome deck. (Except for that silly watcher that invited itself to the party because of a double click bug)
I already went 12-2 4 times but never went 12-1 or 12-0.
My strategy: Pray RNGesus and not miss lethal.

What are you even talking about? The meta is pretty darn diverse right now, mostly composed of:
Why would every deck be rush? If your opponent goes for face to avoid an inefficient trade doesn't mean he's rushing.
What rank are you right now? If you're low rank you might be facing rush decks trying to farm for gold as quickly as they can?
