People have been hating on priest forever but the only viable deck the class currently has is basically pure value. It does nothing broken early (see Druid), doesn't OTK, doesn't curve out and doesn't spam the board with tokens.
The truth is it sucks to lose to a class which disrupts your game plan or uses it against you. That's fair. But deleting a class because you don't like losing to it is a bit much.
I hate aggro decks that ignore the board and just go face. I find them inherently boring and totally unfun but they're a legitimate play style and I wouldn't want to delete hunter or rogue because face hunter and stealth aggro rogue suck balls.
Every class does annoying shit and most do more powerful annoying shit than priest. Mage = RNG fiesta box or turn 4 massive giants. Druid = 30-40 mana turns as early as 3/4 (hopefully now countered by nerf). Rogue was draw your deck and play cheap shit combined with limitless lackey value and is now play minions you can't interact with and smash face. Warrior is spunk bombs in your deck or hit you on the face with weapons (seriously is there a more boring way of playing). Warlock is vomit random garbage on the board or remove remove remove and spam a win with Highlander cards they technically shouldn't really be playing. Demon Hunter - well fuck me its another smorc me go face deck. Hunter can curve out so fast there is no counter and then there is Face Hunter which is essentially having a massive wank instead of interacting with your partner. Paladin is just play dumb shit sticky annoying minions each turn. Shaman, well shaman is just pretty terrible right now but it sucks to lose to totems on turn 5 so let's go with that.
Basically every class can be annoying if you choose to view it that way. Priest is no more annoying than the rest so get over it bitches and join the Anduin Army!
I agree with OP about Cutting Class and weapon tempo rogue's potential, its gonna be the first deck I try when the expansion hits.
The more I think about Tour Guide the more I like it (especially in wild, but also in standard). Its gonna be crazy good in totem shaman and it has some other applications.
IMO one of the most underrated cards is Jandice Barov. I did some research, looked at the possible highrolls and lowrolls, and it seems very good in a tempo rogue deck. Maybe even in tempo mage but Im not sure about that deck.
Totally agree on Jandice Barov in Rouge. It is a great tempo play and has both shadow step and witchy lackey potential. Could see play as a 5 drop in highlander mage but I would be extremely surprised if it didn't see play in Galakrond or value based rogue decks.
You realize its possible that cards can not necessarily be op cards but at the same time be horribly designed and extremely unfun. That's the case with this card. It might not be a broken card when it is released but thats not the point. Just the fact that a unfun and uninteractive card such as this exist is enough to make a lot of people upset. Btw, youre the one who looks like a little crying baby
You didnt see it being played in any deck whatsoever and you are judging already that its unfun and horribly designed. Looks like we have Hearthstone developer over here, hi hello. They let you guys out of cages during breaks?
You've never tasted sh*t in any dish whatsoever and you already decided that it tasted bad. Looks like we got a smoothbrain over here, hi hello. Or maybe you have tasted sh*t before It's entirely plausible given your posts
Lol what even is this post and why do people get so defensive and then start trolling because they don't like someone else's opinion?
Until we see the rest of the cards who knows. If aggro plays this on turn four they aren't playing minions or smorcing your face and might draw some great cards for their opponent too.
As someone else said, feel bad cards are part of Hearthstone so let's just wait and see eh?
"If you disagree with me you're trolling"
Topdecking this card after you've handdumped draws you 4 cards. That's one more card than Nourish which costs two mana more. Any good aggro deck includes card draw so they don't run out of resources.
This card like Divine Favor before encourages a simple-minded playstyle where the aggro player does not get punished for dumping their hand early and worse yet it has the potential to seriously punish control players for saving their hand for later. The scenario you've described is the best case scenario for the opponent. Allow me to share the worst case Scenario: Full hand of removal ready to use against DH's board of threats when suddenly *poof* your hand is taken from and made equal to your opponents who's been doing nothing but overextending the whole game. Your hand full of removal is now 5 cards less and the four that you draw are all useless top end you mulliganed away earlier.
That's the issue with this card, people hate getting punished for playing control decks the way they're supposed to be played. Yes this is all speculative but we can make educated guesses based on the information we have available. IMO however, I don't see how more cards being revealed can fix this problem unless every other class gets control tools so oppressive and potent that they're able to keep DH down regardless of Glide. And given how DH is a top-tier aggro deck in Wild where the entire card library is open to control decks I don't see that happening
That's all fair and you've made an articulate argument. That is definitely a possibility. My point was simply let's not throw our toys out of the pram just yet because as ever:
- we haven't seen the rest of the cards
- we have no idea what the meta will look like
- the card looks strong and potentially frustrating for opponents but might never see play
If the scenario you mentioned becomes a reality then control players will have to adapt and play round it and other aggro decks will have a field day.
But let's not all start throwing *shit* at each other because we disagree.

You get a load of new cards for a completely new class. We have just had the best HoF changes ever. The expansion launches in a week and you are complaining? This is on the the back of arguably the best year for solo content and story, varied and competitive meta with regular nerfs and changes when required.
The developers have upped their game massively in the last 12 months. They have genuinely listened to the community (and the streamers/pros) and are keeping it fresh.
Ok it might be disappointing if you were expecting an expansion size solo dungeon run or something but most people were expecting the same kind of campaign as you do for the basic set. Getting this angry or pissed off about it and slating the developers is totally unjustified IMO.

Classic overreaction. I've had it played against me a few times and each time it drew me a better card to play next turn.
Mindreader might be my favourite card ever printed. Haters gonna hate!

The design of this is awesome from start to finish. It's rogue style and the card art is sweet. Even the name is awesome!
