posted a message on Need some advice (spending money)

Hey there, if you feel like playing serious , it doesn't mean you must pay2win. But without further ado, I'll get into the subject. When you decide to spend money in hearthstone, my suggestion is that you must get the "Welcome Bundle" because that 1 legendary is usually an important one (I got Archamage Antonidas :D ) and then there are the adventures. I believe you know that adventures can be purchased for aroud 700 gold each chapter in case you change your mind, but paying for the "One Night in Karazhan" is really worth. My suggestion would be to never disenchant legendaries because most of the times it's not worth it and later on you'll feel like you could've used that leggie. Also, never disenchant Karazhan legendaries since most of them are really useful. Anyways, these two are really good things in case you feel like buying them but paying real money to open packs is not really worth it in my opinion, and since they've increased the prices after the Un'Goro launch, it's even worse. I'd say that after this you can wait for the next adventure, or even the next expansion because the pre-order pack is usually worth it. Have fun, and have a great day!

posted a message on Should old expansion cards be disenchanted?
    Quote from ArgentumEmperio >>

    1. NEVER disenchant cards unless you physically don't want 'em in your collection OR; you are willing to lose one card to gain another that you want much more.

    2. NEVER disenchant adventure or wild cards because they are effectively double the price as they simply cannot be attained through gold. Where as gold can give you standard cards AND you can craft the ones you still need with dust - thus' you have two ways of attaining a specific card. The reason why adventure cards fall into this category as well is that once you got 'em the first time around, you can't get 'em the second time around unless you craft them using dust - thus' they fall into the same position as 'You can only get them through dust'.

    3. You CANNOT predict what you want in the future so if you do something in an attempt to future proof yourself you'll miss out on potential nerf-gold (as in when a card gets changed its dust value gets reset for a week or two); you'll lose out on potential gold/dust since you might need to re-craft a card again (look at the multitude of threads here on Hearthpwn of folks who have done that) and; this is a CCG and not a TCG - the primary joy you should get from playing the game comes from collecting and playing the game.
    a) If you want to collect cards, then you shouldn't disenchant cards from your collection - makes sense.
    b) If you want to use the cards, then you shouldn't disenchant the cards you want to use from your collection and you don't EVER know if you'll be more interested in another format like wild.

A lot of people got interested in Wild with the rise of Midrange shaman during Whispers of the Old Gods and Pirate Warrior in MSOG since wild have access to some exceptionally powerful and utterly broken cards for control or midrange players and in rare cases aggro. Furthermore there's plenty of reasons why someone might want to pull off the Majordomo Executus + Awaken the Makers combo for just the fun of it and more people get interested in Wild when they find out about these ridiculous combos that exists in Wild.

These are my opinions on crafting and disenchanting. A lot of people have also found these tips and tricks to be true as an overarching idea because... its a game. You are supposed to have fun and thus' taking it seriously in any real aspect like "I am just going to be playing standard" then sure, disenchant old cards but then you should also be fine with losing that part of the game. A LOT of people started whining and moaning that they disenchanted X, Y or Z card when one deck or another becomes popular.

It's a choice of what you do and I have found these sets of policies to be something which fits a lot of people. I don't disenchant a lot of cards no.

This is literally what I've been looking for, thanks for the explanation dude :D

Thinking about that, what's your definition of a garbage leggie?

Dust Rag and some more cards and get the Warrior Quest instead, I did that, and if you are able to build a deck around this quest, it's pretty decent. I've actually got my Tempo Warrior Deck from Thisj so in case you are interested, just hit me up

Yeah well, I'd trade 4 old/bad games for a brand new one, the main idea is that one new legendary card may help you win some games while the old ones, well, you may never even play them.

As the title says, do you suggest disenchanting the old expansion cards such as Reno Jackson or Ragnaros (Even tho he isn't included in an expansion), and all those cards? Or will you just keep them in case you feel like playing some Wild games or just to make your collection feel a little wider?

    *Sorry for my english
