So... the firework elemental hit the gossiper, which should have killed it, but because it did 3 damage, the secret activated... thus giving the gossiper +2 health, allowing it to survive?

Honestly, that seems a little weird to me, too. I feel like the secret should activate after the damage is done. Which would then be too late for the gossiper to receive the buff.

Though... in an older thread, people were talking about end of turn effects, saying how it was indeed possible for a minion to take 2 damage (and technically be at 0 health) and then heal back to 1 health because they all happened "at the same time." But order of play is still important.

Anyway, I have only played one game against secret paladin so far, and it was pretty annoying. I guess secrets in general are annoying, but being able to tutor them into play with that sword is just rough. I mean, they effectively have a Counterspell you need to play around, which I think everyone can agree is just the worst. So... yeah.

There is definitely a lot of room for improvement with this, and I've been having mixed results with it. A lot of how it performs as the meta develops will be determined by what every other class is doing and it seems a bit all over the place for now. Which is to be expected.

I'm glad my opponent just conceded instead of forcing us to play out this game.

No, I like mage. And 90% of the time I will jam Deck of Lunacy on turn 2 and try to have a good time. Because random can be fun!

But unlike the people you play against (apparently), I often roll into spells that don't benefit me and I end up losing the game (or just barely win).

So, it's a give and take.

Boy, news of these decks spread fast.

Last night I ran into someone playing that watch post rogue deck, and I thought it seemed good for a random person on day 1.

I guess they must have been theorycrafting it and talking about it prior to launch.

I also experienced this today. This must be a bug.
