So once again.....Blizzard fails to figure out a stupid combo deck that basically makes Control decks useless. Its only been ONE DAY and yet it seems like the meta is basically solved already? why is this? It seems like most the community is just a bunch of netdeckers. They will basically watch someone popular on stream and then its gonna be played nonstop. its pretty sad we have a new format all together and yet its basically Shaman, Warlock and paladin in my first 50 games of this ladder. Knowing the community, this is basically whats gonna be the norm...which is a shame cause Odd Mage and Odd Control Warrior are pretty good decks, but Shaman OTK just shits all over control decks.
with all the cards being out, ive been brainstorming what a Baku CW list could look like and ive been thinking alot and here is something. ill explain some of the card choices
SpellStone - With Dragonfire going away, i believe Spellstone is a strong card for a turn 7 play to gain tempo on the board. You would be amazed on how many times ive done summon 3 5/5's and Alex them to kill them instantly
Alex - Like i just mentioned, Alex provides a surprise factor in killing them when they think their save.
Voodoo Doll - I think this is a sleeper, considering warrior has a million whirlwind its basically a hard removal spell which replaces some of the even cards like BloodRazor and Slam
for some reason i thought this was a warrior card at first but im not sure if druid actually needs a Shield block like card considering they have nourish and AI for Carddraw
Similar to Cobalt Guardian which never saw play... I don't have high hopes for this.
even tho its 1 mana less and one more health AND it has divine shield already sooooooo not a good comparison
More precisely: 1 mana less, 2 attack less and it already has the divine shield.
Better comparison: C'Thun's Chosen . Never saw play outside C'thun decks.
But what I personally probably underestimate is the powerdecrease of the rotating two expansions and adventure. Maybe this will be good enough due to that. Although with the croweded 4 mana slot in Paladin I doubt it.
again, youre comparing a two cards that ARE NOT COMPARABLE. No shit Cthun's Chosen didnt see any play outside of Cthun Decks because ITS A CTHUN CARD LOL. thats like running mysterious Challenger in a paladin deck without secrets....its stupid. Plus you idiots keep comparing it to cards that are far worst than this actually is. Thats like saying Patches is bad cause its basically Stonetusk Boar. I guess you dont read cards very well either cause this card can regain his divine shield over and over and it has 1 more health which is a big difference. The last thing you idiots keep forgetting is that paladin has Buff cards so......if you put even one buff on this its hard to kill
Chill dude. No need for the rage.
nah man, i cant stand when people stubbornly make stupid statements based of examples that make no sense.

with 4 4/3 you lost 1 stat, also relys on a 2nd card for healing (dschinn, etc). It`s easy to remove (so most likely the card is dead and you have no chance to reactivate Divine shield. Sad because would be good synergie wit Bolvar :(
"Easy to remove".?!?!?!?!?!?!?! how do you easily remove a Divine shield minion like this one turn 3 or 4 without 2 for 1ing? god its so annoying people make blank statements when they never played with the card.
not sure why you guys are shitting on this card for. 6 5/5 "draw a card your opponent cant play around ever" seems good to me. Players underestimate cards like this in terms of getting completely destroyed by it. So lets go over some cards that this could get.
Reno, Rag, Nefarian, sylvanis, Dr Doom, 4 mana Elise. Avaina.
I think its pretty nice to have a card that replaces itself in a Control Mage. I know most of you play Braindead mage and Dude paladin and you think anything beyond 4 mana is unplayable but hey, thats why youre playing those decks and never played a control deck.
You're right. When you queue at rank 20 as Control Mage with this card you'll really surprise your opponents.
For those of use that play Control Mage at Legend this card is garbage except for memes.
LOL Someone is triggered.FYI asshole Control mage is perfectly fine deck to climb with...kinda why i got to ranked 5 last month. Plus im sure youve never played any other card games where you dont realize that in control match ups; Attrition means everything. People thought rin was a bad card, but look likes they were wrong also

its pretty hard to kill something with FIVE health on turn 2 or 3. Kings or Steed is pretty nutty
