posted a message on Underrated decks for upcoming nerfs

    Hello guys

I was thinking about what decks could possibly be more appealing.  The 3 decks that are constantly netdecked religiously are spiteful druid, Cubelock and Paladin (even mostly). There are 3 things that i believe is that Lackey at 6 is gonna be a much harder to handle aggro decks like Baku Hunter, Even shaman and others. Spiteful Summoner could be a wild card in the fact even at 7 mana summoning a 10 drop with a 4/4 is still a pretty good deal....but we will have to see if having one more turn will make a difference. Paladin getting Call to arms nerfed is much needed. Ive seen others claim that Murloc paladin might still be a good deck with a 5 mana call to arms which i find odd because at 5 mana is where board clears start happening and murlocs arent good against thoses as we know. I still think it will be a good way to gain the board again but i think we might see less paladin...but still have it where its not as common.

There are some decks i think will get a big boost on these nerfs.

    1. Warrior (Rush/Control/Baku). I put Warrior as a class because i feel that Warrior is very underrated but alot of the time Warrior gets beat up really hard by Warlock. (even tho i have a positive winrate with Baku Warrior against Cubelock) I think warrior will be about to get more of a foothold because with the lackey nerf Aggro decks will be alot more around and Warrior is really good at beating up aggro with all the whirlwind effects they have. Also if you want to beat up paladin, all 3 of the Warrior decks can do that.

    2. Shaman (even/Elementals?) the only reason Shaman isnt as good as it is...is because the fact there is too many warlocks. Even shaman is a good minion deck that gain the board and it could be something to look at.

    3. Midranged decks (Shaman/Paladin/Warrior). With Spiteful summoner and cubelock being around there is basically no midranged decks because beating voidlord is not an easy task. But i feel that if the mana costs is as costly then maybe midranged can have the chance to get a good footing.

Depends, good ole' HSreplay.net will show me the way as usual! :D

Why the downvoting? You all so jelly?! Jelly in the belly?! ^_^v

Religiously netdecking doesnt make you special. plus we arent surprised your tone is Inflammatory to say the least. Its always sad when you see people take a casual handheld game this seriously.....and in Wild nevertheless

    Quickly?!

Most of this should have happened five months ago.

i agree, i argued that they should of changed things before Rotation, but this is pretty fast for Team 5 standards.

posted a message on Cubelock nerfed too much?

I always find it funny when people that netdeck cubelock bitch about it being nerfed. its been the best deck since the Raza nerf and there is literally no bad matchups for cubelock.

I mean Braindead is basically like the 5th most popular deck right now....so its not like its not a good % of the ladder.

Cubelock is still insane, they didn't actually lose any of their combo potential..

even tho there is a big difference between lackey on turn 5 and turn 6

if youre worried about paladin, just play Warrior. I heard Whirlwinds are good against silverhand recruits

well its good they are nerfing all the cards that make top 3 classes (druid/paladin and Warlock) where they are.

    1. i hope the nerf to lackey makes it way harder for cubelock to operate cause i think its time to bring down the dumb interaction of having voidlord on turn 5-6.

    2. the Nerf to Spiteful i feel isnt quite enough. 7 mana isnt alot more and coining on turn 5 compared to coining on turn 6 is a big difference. but i feel like getting a 8/8 or a 12/12 on turn 6 or 7 with a 4/4 is still pretty busted.

by the way guys, Odd paladin isnt gonna be better because Call to arms is 5 mana cause there is a big difference between summoning 3 two drops on turn 4 then summoning 2-3 1 drops on turn 5.

not sure whats assholes are worse. people that play Braindead mage or assholes that play Cubelock. "tempo" mage is basically a version of old face hunter.  ive literally had people do 2 fireballs at me when i was at 36 health. Whats more annoying is that people netdeck it too cause Pyroblast is such a niche card cause its so bad against aggro but if youre playing that deck anyway you probably dont want to use any braincells anyway.

Again, Gul'dan isnt the problem. The issue is Lackey.

I think Blizzard should just get rid of the playmode all together but that wont happen....even tho Casual is basically Ranked anyway.

    posted a message on Blizzard's Off-Meta Deck Spotlight - May 4, 2018

If you mean " off meta" meaning not constantly netdecked....then sure. Baku Warrior is pretty underrated cause ive found it has a pretty good match up against cubelock cause you just outlive them and you kill everything. The only bad match up is quest rogue and Sometimes Druid.

posted a message on Balancing Spiteful Summoner?

In my opinion nerfing Spiteful Summoner to 7 mana would be huge enough to make it balanced.

Changing it into a spell is interesting, but it would possibly kill it, and also changing a minion into a spell doesn't feel right.

I think that Spiteful Decks aren't the biggest problem on the meta, but if Blizzard would announce nerfs to few cards increasing cost by one would have a significant impact on Spiteful Summoner.

i hate when people are disingenuous when the facts say other wise. So basically the meta right is paladin, Spiteful decks and Warlock so im not sure why you think 1/3 of the meta isnt a problem because Spiteful summoner is overpowered in the fact that most decks cant deal with a turn 5 or 6 10 drop unless youre killing them the following turn. Countering paladin is easy but people dont want to play Control other than cubelock. i dont really consider Quest Rogue to be a problem cause paladin rolls all over it.
