So I just got it in the Arena, and it seems like it is bugged, since even though I had no mechs out (only 2-3 in my deck) the battlecry procced and he became a 4/4 and I got the spare part.

So at least right now he is even better then he already was though to be :D

    I dont agree,

yeah it is faster and easier to win with money, but I havent spent more then some few bucks so far, mostly out of curiosity.

I can do 1-2 arena runs a day easily, and that always means 1-2 packs a day.

Had I known better from start how this game works, I definitely wouldve had even more gold left over. But yeah, of course noobs will have it a little harder (as did I in the beginning). They can then spend some money, but that wont help much since opening decks still doesnt help you get cards as much as consistently winning in arena etc.

Ive made a guide on how I approach the game to not spend any money and uploaded it in my youtube channel.

Check it out if you wanna see!

Some more stuff on how to play it:

As first turner, try to get flame imp / voidwalker / argent squire on the mulligan, keep a knife juggler if you get one though.

If you have a voidwalker and a mortal coil, try to get any other 1 turner with them, so you have a counter to their coined 1 turn if they play one, if not you can always use hero ability or play something that uses 2 mana.

As 2nd turner you also want to keep knifejugglers flame imps and voidwalkers, but bloodimps are more important since your a bit more on the defensive at first.

During the game, make sure to use your soulfire whenever you have no cards left which should not be too hard seeing your low mana curve.
Cult masters are very potent cards, use those whenever your opponent plays a big minion which you have to clear. Since your minions are rather small, you will often need 2 or 3 to kill a big drop, and you will get those 2-3 cards right back with the cult master.Priestresses are very fragile, but very potent. Their 2 damage is quite nice if you can deal it without the priestress dieing (e.g. on their hero), and bloodimps or double priestresses can help on that "without dieing" part very well even against other minions.Keeping the board alive: Always apply your buffs in a way so that you can survive big board clears with at least 1 or 2 cards but at the same time dont make any one card so strong that your are left with only crap if it is single targeted.
That means, that against a mage you should try to keep all minions above 1 HP at all times, and when it gets to turn 7 you should try to get minions above the 4 health mark, while maintaining a somewhat even spread of power across the board.Improvements: As you get better cards, you can take out the novice engineers or the mortal coils (even though I personally really like them), and replace with The Black Knights, Silvanas Windrunner  or argent commanders.

posted a message on How far can you go with no Legendaries

I agree, you can get very far.

I have put together my budget deck for your thread here, it doesn't use legendaries or epics at all!

    Low Budget Warlock Board Control
Export to BBCode Export to Cockatrice Export to MarkDown Export to Html Clone this deck
    Minion (26) Ability (4)
    Loading Collection

The idea would be to get a solid deck like this for every class, so you can easily do your quests every day and then go to arena, where you should be able to average enough wins to make it worthwhile on even grounds, and collect more cards for constructed which you can either implement in existing decks or collect until you have all those you need for a new deck with a different focus!
