I don't run stats on my plays but I can tell you, without Zola the Gorgon and Baleful Banker I was able to go from 20 to 13 - slowly, since it's Renolock, but I can guess I was winning about 80% of my games. It's slowed down since hehehe. 

I replaced Zola and Baleful withKel'Thuzad and Siphon Soul ---> adding one hard removal and making boards impossibly difficult to clear made this more fun for me.

I love how many ppl blindly "like" this deck just because it has many AOE cards... So foolish. This deck is actually bad. It may only be good against aggro decks, which I met really rarely lately. You lose much hp on this deck - AOE hurts your hero and hurt other minions.  Using hero ability hurts the hero too. I've played many games (at rank 17) and all I can say it's quite bad because you need to be lucky to win. In my case - I've lost many games because enemy had 1-2 hp, or I didn't get Gul'dan on time or (which was pretty often) I ran out of cards and just got owned by the enemy, especially Mages and Druids whom I've seen every second game.

 

Now I wait for dislikes from people who can't actually say why this deck is good and why they dislike my post, just because they are trolls and say "you musn't say bad things because this deck is so popular it has to be good oGMEGMFOGMOFMOGFMO!$!!@$!".

Interesting interaction when Lich King has Frostmourne : Harrison Jones will not break the weapon but YOU WILL DRAW 3 cards since his weapon doesn't lose turns, and same for Gluttonous Ooze you will gain 5 armor. Sorry if I'm late on this thought it was worth sharing.

Is the The Lich King really necessary ? 

I get that it is quite an overwhelming card to see played but honestly most decks have hard removal and it almost instantly gets focused, I feel you only get good value out of it if you're able to keep it alive for at least 2 turns and hope to get those OP spells (which they are I have to admit).  

I feel maybe a fat demon could be nice, considering Bloodreaver Gul'dan 's battlecry is great.

Hey what deck do you play I'd be curious to know :) That Warlock DK is no joke and neither are those Broken DK Druids :p

With the latest expansion to date, I think this card is an absolute must have : So many weapons have been added to the game and most are late game cards that players want to combo like Blood Razor and Rotface.. And for some aggro decks that blow off steam quite fast this is a good way to regain card advantage (considering your opponent plays a slower deck and has quite a few cards in had, which happens quite often now). 

Excellent card imo. 

This card should cost 2400 dust to craft and be unavailable in booster packs

6/9/9 Charge - Whenever this minion takes damage, you hero takes 3 damage. I think that's probably not the best but in certain situations, could be a rager !
