JarlBallin posted a message on Nerfs - The dust refund policy must be changed as it's not fair anymorePosted in: General DiscussionI crafted Kingsbane a while ago, used it for about 3-4 months then dusted it. It's simply that card that's really not interactive, fun, but it gives you free wins, which in the end, can be fun right? I got my share of free wins where I trashed like 8 out of 10 opponents I came across, then went on to new decks.
So,I can speak from experience here that KB was broken BECAUSE of Leeching Poison. Is the weapon unplayable now? Hell to the no. It's just not as degenerate as it was until now. It is,wait for it, b a l a n c e d. If you can get the weapon to 5+ attack and use Leeching Poison+ Boomerang, you still get double the healing. That is more than enough for 1 mana, trust me.
So, take it from an old KB user: Don't demand 1600 dust just because your legendary degenerate card is actually balanced now. Please. It's quite embarassing.

B0n3d4ddy posted a message on Card Nerf - Wild GrowthPosted in: Card Discussion^ well said
The only 3-mana cards which see regular play at the moment are Savage Roar, Ferocious Howl and... yup, nothing else. There is Greedy Sprite but it saw daylight only when Big Druid was a thing. And Power of the Wild or Wrath are nowhere near as omnipresent as Wild Growth. Hopefully this change may shake up the current state of Druid which feels like "choose 10 cards to build around the never-changing core set of 20 cards"...

YourPrivateNightmare posted a message on Card Nerf - Wild GrowthPosted in: Card DiscussionI think you don't understand the purpose of this nerf.
It's not just to reduce Druid'S overall power, but also to open up design space.
Wild Growth always had two major effects on deckbuilding:
a) it basically defined the proactive 2-mana slot for every Druid deck that wasn't full aggro (or Spiteful)
b) it also severely reduced the relevance of the 3-mana slot, as ideally you'd want to skip the 3-mana curve and go straight into 4-mana
As a result Druid 2-drops rarely ever saw play, because the downsides of not using Wild Growth is far greater than the disadvantage of not playing a 2-drop on curve. Moreover, it also meant that any Druid 3-drop would have to be ridiculously powerful (or a reactive tool) to justify running in a deck that ideally never wants to be at 3-mana. Wardruid Loti for example is an insane card iin terms of flexibility, but right now you barely see her pllayed even in decks that can run her, simply because there is little need for an actual 3-drop.
Effectively this change makes it so they can design better 2- and 3-drops for Druid, allowing for more midrange deckbuilding possibilities and also being able to create stronger expensive cards, since ramping is more difficult now.
People seem to be so obsessed with Ultimate Infestation and Spreading Plague being overpowered, when the real reason why these cards are so ommnipresent is simply because of how seamlessly they go along with the current ramp options.
That being said, if they do not seriously up the powerlevel of upcoming Druid cards then the class might just drop to Old Gods Priest level of unplayable. Then again, everyone else had their turn, so I can't feel too bad about it.

Zilliax is a mech... if you draw Master's Call first before it... it will be useless. of course you can try to find it by Tracking but it's still a risk IMO. i once got Zul'jin and Deathstalker Rexxar at the same time... the dillema...

no Grommash Hellscream???

Elise the Trailblazer are not good. if you really can't afford a legendary, just put another Witch's Cauldron and other cards with Shrink Ray

salt... salty everywhere.... this week brawl uses wild decks... and i had 7 times trying to win game because i never play wild.
2
you can call me poor, but i still think the deck is too expensive.
-1
really... i don't get it, why there's so many ppl whining about the deck build. yet they never think up their own version of deck.
if you lose the game, that's just because you can't really play it well. instead of jump right on the ranked why don't you try casual first.
don't blame the deck build. if they can hit rank 5 in 100 minutes while you can't, it's because of their skill and RNGesus.

not really sure... but if it were me, i think dire mole would be a decent. they usefulness is only if you drawn them on earlier turn, despite of having 3 health, nothing really special.
unless the dire mole survive until Houndmaster come and then Crackling Razormaw adapt it with 'can't be target by spell or hero power'

well... when Level Up! isn't odd anymore... try thinking other meta. instead of mourning, or rejoice for those who often get defeated by these. i use odd-paladin, but i hardly ever use Level Up!. it's a life savior indeed, but not critical. i often got my odd pally win because of Witch's Cauldron
2
clearly that this deck is build to end the game fast, if you lose this because you focusing on clear board instead of face.
2
exactly... that cards is cancer. especially when they are drawn on earlier turn.
it makes them almost invincible, i don't know who think up a deck like that, but i really glad they finally nerfed it. rogue is an offense type that's why Rogue is given the Doomerang which can damage an enemy without hurting themself. but with Leeching Poison, it's a completely cheat IMO.
once again, im really glad with the nerf. though im an odd-pally player, i accept this nerf gladly.
