OP - try wild, lot more variety in the decks you face moving up the ladder, keeps things interesting.
Not to say you don't encounter pirate warriors, I hit a wall of them yesterday at rank 8, like at least 15 of 20 consequetive matches, so I techd hard for them.
I do agree with your point overall, aggro is just too effective with the new additions, there is way too much damage from hand in the game currently.
Choose an opponents minion with 2 attack or less and shuffle it in your deck. It remains 6 mana ofcours as Priest already have so many annoying cards at their exposal.
I'd gladly trade some of that 'OP' control toolbox for my old Deathlord and Velen's Chosen. Because as fun as it is to destroy a gazillion Control Warriors, sometimes you like to have a more consistent winrate against Aggro, too. Or maybe I'm talking crazy here.
Remember when priests were actually good against face decks?
My opponent plays Yogg while I have Sylvanus out, early spells kill Sylvanus andv steals Yogg, and the rest of the spells he cast are as though I had played yogg (ie I drew cards from arcane knowledge)
Honestly I think that is a better option than cthun- don't go crazy on the death rattle minions - you want nzoth to revive the best minions, not loot hoarders and such
one time i had two portals in my opening hand- so i coined out the first one on turn one and got Ysera, then the second portal gave me a Dragon Consort
it took all the skill in the world to win that game...
honestly - card is such bs, can't wait for standard
Your opponent may have kept Reno in his hand during mulligan, it's a fairly good play in any deck that runs reno.
It looks like you lost to combo. Shit happens, against reno decks there is always a chance they have combo - it is a good idea to try to keep a taunt up later in the game against any deck that may be running combo - not always possible but how many taunts do you actually have? Probably 5 if you have chillmaw but you dropped at least 2 of them in your opening rush.

im playing a greedy n'zoth dragon priest and having a blast in standard.
i could give two shits about reaching legend- this is a game and i play it to have fun - not to grind and grind and grind for hours
why does 'how many people hit legend with priest' even matter? people who want to hit legend will tend to do it with faster classes

Alexstraza is a good counter to reno.

I wonder if the spells cast by this battlecry would trigger Antonidas' effect, and fill your hand with fireballs?
