Just would like to say, this achievement system is really awesome. Sad to see it going away soon. Thanks for all the hard work! Hope you guys will consider creating a similar one over there :-)

ShadowAldrius posted a message on Reckless Experimenter Nerf Coming June 3Posted in: NewsGod this is an annoying change. So many cool combos that weren't a problem (like voodoo doll) aren't viable anymore because of this change. All for this silly mech card.

I went for Paladin with the 'Coin per minion' ability. Really strong with Drygulch Jailor.
My only gripe is the NPC messages you constantly get that interrupt the start of your turn. Wish I could just click those away and play my games. -

Kovachut posted a message on 5 Decks for Your Unpopular Rise of Shadows LegendariesPosted in: NewsTbh this is the fate for all legendaries, that are suited for combo/control lists. Those archtypes are ALWAYS expensive, so it's not Nozari's fault. I have never seen cheap control lists; that's why some people prefer competitive budget decks like zoo or mid-range hunter.

a) his hero power is useless. He plays a control deck that does not go face for a very long time. so ... a 1 mana worse than hunter hero power is not useful
b) his deck is full of spells and fat minions. you never want to aspire to hagatha because your taunt minions need to taunt. togwaggle? => you won't play minions before turn 6. dr boom? maybe, but it's a weak choice. lazul? well, that one is great, EXCEPT that your hand is gonna be full very soon unless you get cheap useful minions from your opponent!
c) last and most importantly: he plays with Dr. Boom's Scheme!!! (what the heck were they thinking when creating this card???? this card needs a serious BUFF! even at 2 mana it's probably bad. or if it gave double armor. this is a dead card that will almost never help you win)

It's certainly one of those things.

A secret that even the Paladin doesn't know what will come out. A super secret.

Academic Espionage anyone?

This is my first thread, so I apologize if this is a topic that has been done to death. How do you all feel about the lack of consistent expansion pre-orders? The pre-order bundles over the years have jumped around in price as well as what is being offered, and although there are normally bonuses appropriate to the asking prices there have been two outliers: The Witchwood and Rise of Shadows. In the case of The Witchwood, there was a record low of $0.71 USD per-pack; conversely, Rise of Shadows features the a $49.99 USD bundle that's very comparable to a pre-order available in The Boomsday Project, but it lacks a golden legendary card (there is a legendary included with the bundle, but it is not golden).
Personally, I have yet to pre-order this expansion, and this dip in value has me a little turned off to doing so. I still may end up pre-ordering, but I wanted to know if anyone else shares my sentiment. Obviously, complaining about the inconsistency and the worse bundle will change nothing, but I'd like to know your opinion. Does the dip in value bother you, or not really? How do you feel about the lack of consistency overall?
Disclaimer: This thread is not meant to be an echo chamber to support my opinion; I genuinely wish to hear other people's thoughts on the subject

Peter Whalen said it best, "It's a card."

Maybe the Old Gods are coming back? That would be awesome.

I can confirm that players that have opened these packs in the past do not receive the 10-pack Legendary pity timer.

Very fluffy indeed.

If Mage can already draw 3 cards for 2 mana, why would you play this card? (besides memes) I don't understand people saying it's anything more than 'Playable'. I'm not saying everyone else is wrong. I just want to know what I'm missing here.

Glenda Crowskin + Mechwarper + Skaterbot = Potential OTK (If you already have a Mech on board)
