posted a message on I think this is proof Blizzard is working on Tournament mode

It could very well just be a glitch, but I can see why you'd think it could be more than that. Hopefully your theory is right, because a tournament mode sounds like a lot of fun.

posted a message on Inconsistent Pre-orders

This is my first thread, so I apologize if this is a topic that has been done to death. How do you all feel about the lack of consistent expansion pre-orders? The pre-order bundles over the years have jumped around in price as well as what is being offered, and although there are normally bonuses appropriate to the asking prices there have been two outliers: The Witchwood and Rise of Shadows. In the case of The Witchwood, there was a record low of $0.71 USD per-pack; conversely, Rise of Shadows features the a  $49.99 USD bundle that's very comparable to a pre-order available in The Boomsday Project, but it lacks a golden legendary card (there is a legendary included with the bundle, but it is not golden).

Personally, I have yet to pre-order this expansion, and this dip in value has me a little turned off to doing so. I still may end up pre-ordering, but I wanted to know if anyone else shares my sentiment. Obviously, complaining about the inconsistency and the worse bundle will change nothing, but I'd like to know your opinion. Does the dip in value bother you, or not really? How do you feel about the lack of consistency overall?

Disclaimer: This thread is not meant to be an echo chamber to support my opinion; I genuinely wish to hear other people's thoughts on the subject

I can confirm that players that have opened these packs in the past do not receive the 10-pack Legendary pity timer.

posted a message on New Mage Spell - Research Project

If Mage can already draw 3 cards for 2 mana, why would you play this card? (besides memes) I don't understand people saying it's anything more than 'Playable'. I'm not saying everyone else is wrong. I just want to know what I'm missing here.

posted a message on New Card Reveal - Mecha'thun

Hearthstone needed a card like this. This makes it so you always have that last-ditch effort to win... even if it literally means having absolutely NOTHING left. It may work with Myra's Unstable Element or Hemet, Jungle Hunter though.

posted a message on [Post Nerfs] Anti Meta Big Spell Priest

After trying the deck I noticed a very big flaw: Spiteful Summoner drawing Psychic Scream from the deck. Spiteful Summoner is one of this deck's win conditions, and with at least 20% (probably more by the time turn 6+ comes around) of creating a 7 drop which may be worse than you think.

    Bad 7 drops include:

Ancient of Lore, Ancient of War, Giant Anaconda, Inkmaster Solia, Grimestreet Protector, Lynessa Sunsorrow, Archbishop Benedictus, Temporus, Jade Chieftan, Stone Sentinel, Abyssal Enforcer, Ancient Shieldbearer, Malkorok, Don Han'Cho, Corridor Creeper, Grotesque Dragonhawk, Ravenholdt Assassin, Silver Vanguard, and Volcanosaur.

I realize that not all of these aren't *that* bad when you summon a 4/4 along with them for 6 mana, but compared to the original counterpart that reliably summons 8 or 10 drops (which are much better on average) it just isn't worth it to run Psychic Scream with Spiteful Summoner.
