Just play in the dumpster rank in wild, i have more fun playing there. You still will encounter the occasional big priest but if they are really bothering you just play exodia mage with a polymorph instead of a arcane artificer and you can beat them almost 100% of the time.

     Pretty much that!

Or you can also play casual mode if the stars are not your main goal and just hit "Concede" if you encounter a Priest

In the double-digit ranks of Wild you see a wide variety of decks.  Oh sure, every now and then you see broken decks, especially earlier in the month.

Priest is my favorite class but I just can't bring myself to play Big Priest.  That said, I've seen players just quit on turn one or two when facing me.  I wish I could yell out "I'm only playing Silence Priest!"

     LMAO

Feels bad to be the black sheep, ain't that?

Do any of you accept friend requests after you win/lose a game?. I did a few times but all i got was abuse and then straight away they delete me so now i don't bother.

     Always accept.

    Two possible outcomes:

1- The request is from an asshole who don't know losing and only want to say shit before remove you from friend list after that.

2- The request is from a normal person want to talk something about the match and some days later can resut in an invite for the 80g quest.

The benefits trumps the downsides unless of course you are a snowflake can't take nonsense from a stranger.

posted a message on Literally nobody uses original decks whether it's casual or ranked (If any, it's like less than 5%)

As well as these many arguments above, there are also other two reasons, as you are posting in a Standard format Forum:

1 - This is the beginning of the Standard year, so there are only 4 expansions available, limiting the card pool.

2 - The previous meta was full of Rogues and Warriors, then people where just trying to beat each other with those two decks

Anyway, this is why I almost only play wild right now. I stay at rank 10-15 and play casual. I find LOTS of original ideas, though, as stated above, in order to create a competitive and homebrew, you'll need a lot of dust and time to refine it, which are things not everyone has

Another option is to go on friendly matches to chill.

After all of those nerf waves in the last couple of months, I can agree that they just think about a card that would look cool and just release it, never testing it.. sad

    Completely agreed on this issue!

The devs should make some brainstorming and testing in new cards (specially those sporadic ones) before releasing them

A Mech with magnetic (a mechanic which I really think is broken) AND echo (shouldn't it be Witchwood only?!?!?!) is really stupid. Adding deathrattle AND at 3 cost is completely broken!!

I hope they were just playing a joke and NOT releasing this stupid card instead of nerfing the perfectly fine Experimenter which sadly will only see play due to this Sn1p-Sn4p...

posted a message on Back to standard HS after a 3y break

Well, I have no answer to your question, regarding new Expansions, since I'm a relatively new player, but one thing I can tell you is this: DO NOT DUST YOUR WILD CARDS!!!!

Standard meta gets boring every time. Although wild is more stable in terms of meta, you'll have a wider variety of decks you can play.

Sounds like someone regrets dusting wild cards...

If it's not the problem, then you should gather as many friends as possible and play with them in a closed format mode where you dictate the rules.

posted a message on So... how do you win against Big Priest?

As you may have noticed by now, after all these great advices, you can see big priest is not invincible, it's just one more broken deck in wild. The problem is that we tend to try to make our homebrew work flawlessly against any opponent, but that is difficult in ranked mode. So, you're stuck with a few options: either you change your deck to play in ranked or you stick to your deck and play against your friends or casual mode... we have to get used to it.

posted a message on Should i craft tempo rogue?

My suggestion: if you're happy with your bomb warrior, stick to it. As stated by others, there will soon be a nerf for one or more core cards in this deck, maybe it won't hit so hard the deck, but, who knows?

Otherwise, just craft it, play like a gambling addict and try to hit rank 5 ASAP (it should be no problem).

posted a message on Rank #1 Rage Warrior

Hey, dude! Nice deck. I was trying something like this but much greedier, so I took your idea after reading your post last day and decided to give it a try. I'm still just using in casual, but, man!!! Its trampling every opponent.

I just made a few adjustments cause I felt it's a fast deck and needed more minions.

I took out both Inner Rages, Grommash (love him, but too slow for me, and also you have many face damage cards, so you can finish the game) and added another taskmaster, another militia commander and one Battle Rage (one or two drawed cards help a lot in this kind of deck)

Anyway, I'll try it in Ranked mode later and will give you a feedback (I'm in rank 10 and facing many control decks, so this will be the real test)

posted a message on Poll: Why the hate for Control decks?
    Quote from Goodlake >>

I don’t hate playing against control decks. Control Shaman has been my favorite deck to play since the start of this meta and it’s a deck I enjoy playing against as well. Even the mirror requires interesting decisions and I enjoy playing against it when I’m playing other decks. And there’s plenty of room for customization, improvisation and adaptation in the archetype. It’s an example of a creative control deck where games play out differently every time and the pilot can be punished for mistakes.

But like a lot of other players, I find Control Warrior to be tedious in the current standard meta. The games are always the same, the power level of their core cards makes control easy to play, etc. Everything that’s ostensibly interesting or challenging about control is neutered by the fact that Warrior has access to the perfect tools for any situation. And because of its armor gain and access to removal, it has a higher margin for error than a control deck should.

Need to clear a single minion? Shield Slam, Execute and Omega Devastator have you covered. Yes, the last one is only playable after turn 10, but are you worried about getting to turn 10?

Need to clear a wide board? Warpath has you covered. The Shaman analogue, Lightning Storm, only guarantees 2 damage per minion and has overload.

Need to clear every minion on the board? Brawl has you covered. Yes, there’s a chance the one big scary minion is left over, but then you can drop Omega Devastator, Execute or Shield Slam.

Running out of minions? Don’t worry, Omega Assembly and Delivery Drone have you covered. Bonus points because those minions have rush! Yes, you’re not guaranteed to get the most useful minion, but you’re guaranteed a rush minion if Dr. Boom has been played.

And when you’re floating mana, just armor up! Or better yet, play a Shield Block, draw a card and boost your Shield Slam. 4-mana, draw a card, deal 5 damage to a minion. Sounds good.

For any conceivable board state, Warrior has an efficient answer that requires no thought or creativity. It’s boring. And if your deck isn’t built to withstand its defenses, you’re sinply going to lose. That’s not how HS should work.

This is why we need more reliable OTK decks.

You forgot just one little detail:

Wanna fatigue your opponent? Archivist Elysiana!! LOL
